Abstract

The aim of research is to determine unphysiological position and posture of work to increase fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders of sculptors. Through a field experiment with randomized pre and post test group design assessed: (a) increased fatigue due to unphysiological position and posture were recorded by 30 items of rating scale of general fatigue; (b) increased muculoskeletal disorders due to unphysiological position and posture were recorded by Nordic Body Map. Data collection was done at 3 (three) days before and after working on 22 samples. The data obtained were analyzed by paired t test. The result showed: the fatigue an increase to 43,62% and musculoskeletal disorders increase to 31,58% (p < 0,05). Thus it can be concluded that unphysiological position and posture of work increase fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders of sculptors.
