EVALUASI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SMP NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di tinjau dari variabel context; input; process; dan product; (2) mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di tinjau dari model evaluasi CIPP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi (evaluation reseach) dengan menggunakan model CIPP. Adapun subyek evaluasi adalah kepala sekolah, guru pembina, siswa, dan dokumen yang akan memberikan informasi. Obyek evaluasi adalah pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter yang terdiri dari variabel (context, input, process, dan product). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, checklist dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara umum pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja termasuk dalam kategori sangat efektif. Dari keempat variabel yang diteliti menujukkan bahwa variabel context termasuk kategori sangat efektif, variabel input termasuk kategori sangat efektif, variabel process termasuk kategori sangat efektif dan produk termasuk kategori sangat efektif dengan nilai berturut-turut (98,21%, 90,00%, 92,05%, dan 90,00%), sehingga efektivitas pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter yang ditinjau dari model CIIP dan mengacu pada kuadran Glickman termasuk dalam kuadran I yang diperoleh hasil positip (+ + + +) yang berarti sangat efektif.

The aimed of this study are to (1) find out the effectiveness of implementation of character education programs in the review of the context variables; input; process; and product; (2) to know the effectiveness of character education program implementation in review of CIPP evaluation model. This research is an evaluation research (evaluation reseach) by using CIPP model. The subjects of the evaluation are the principals, the guidance teachers, students, and documents that will provide information. Object of the evaluation is the implementation of character education program consisting of variables (context, input, process, and product). Data collecting technique which used in this research are observation, questionnaire, interview, checklist and documentation. The data are analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The result of this research is general implementation of program character education in SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja included in the category very effective. The four variables studied showed that the context variables are very effective category, process variables are very effective and product category is very effective with successive value, (98,21%, 90,00%, 92,05%, and 90,00%), so the effectiveness of the character education program in terms of the CIIP model and referring to the Glickman quadrant included in quadrant (+ + + +) is effective.
