PENGARUH PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA PETA KONSEP TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS V SD GUGUS KI HAJAR DEWANTARA DENPASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media peta konsep dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional di kelas V SD Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperiment (eksperimen semu) dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group. Populasi meliputi seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri di Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 272 siswa dan dan sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah 84 orang. Instrumen pokok dalam penelitian ini hasil belajar IPS siswa. Data diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik parametrik. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan hasil sebagai berikut, rerata post test kelompok eksperimen 76,10 dan kelompok kontrol 68,51. Uji hipotesis dilakukan pada skor post test dengan hasil pengujian uji-t yaitu thit(4,68)>ttab(2,000). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikanhasil belajar IPS antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan media peta konsep dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Gugus Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar, maka dapat direkomendasikan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual berbantuan media peta konsep dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pendekatan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci : pendekatan kontekstual, peta konsep, hasil belajar
This study aims to determine significant differences between the IPS learning outcomes of students who take the media -assisted contextual learning concept maps with students who take conventional learning in class V SD Force Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar. This study is a quasi experimental study (quasi-experimental) research design Nonequivalent with Control Group. Covers the entire population of fifth grade elementary school students in Cluster Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar academic year 2013/2014. The study population totaled 272 students and and samples used in this study was 83 people . Principal instrument in this study IPS student learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric statistical analysis. To test the hypothesis used t-test analysis. Based on the analysis found the following results, the mean posttestt experimental group and the control group 68.51 76.10 . Hypothesis testing is done on the score posttestt with test results that thit t-test ( 4.68 ) > t tab ( 2,000 ). Based on the results of the hypothesis test conducted significant results means that there are differences between students who learn IPS participating in learning using a contextual approach to media -assisted concept maps with students who take the conventional teaching fifth grade elementary school students Force Ki Hajar Dewantara Denpasar.
