PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN VALUE CLARIFICATION TECHNIQUE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PKN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar PKn antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa kelas V semester I di SD Negeri Desa Kalibukbuk Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Desa Kalibukbuk, Kecamatan Buleleng, Kabupaten Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 118 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu keseluruhan populasi yang terdiri dari kelas V SD N 2 Kalibukbuk dan kelas V SD N 4 Kalibukbuk yang berjumlah 67 orang. Data hasil belajar PKn siswa dikumpulkan dengan instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda. Data yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh (1) hasil belajar PKn siswa kelompok eksperimen dengan M = 23,43 tergolong kriteria sangat tinggi, (2) hasil belajar PKn siswa kelompok kontrol dengan M = 18,67 tergolong tinggi, (3) thit = 15,45 dan ttab = 2,021 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, yang berarti thit > ttab, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) terhadap hasil belajar PKn siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Desa Kalibukbuk Kecamatan Buleleng Kabupaten Buleleng.

The purpose of this research was to know the difference of the learning result among the group of students in learning PKn by using Value Clarification Technique (VCT) and the group of students in learning by using Conventional Method for the fifth grade students of the first semester of the state elementary school in Kalibukbuk village, Buleleng district, in the regency of Buleleng in the academic year of 2013/2014. The type of this research was quasi experiment. The population of this research was all of the fifth grade students of the state elementary school in Kalibukbuk village, Buleleng district, in the regency of Buleleng in the academic year of 2013/2014 which were 118 students in total. While the sample of this research was all the students of the fifth grade of elementary school 2 Kalibukbuk and elementary school 4 Kalibukbuk which were 67 students in total. The data of the result in learning PKn was collected with multiple choice test instruments. This data was analized by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The analization of inferential statistics used T-test. Based on the result of data analization, it was got 1) the result in learning PKn for the experiment group was scored M=23,43 was very high category, 2) the result in learning PKn for control group was scored M=18,67 was a high category and 3) thit = 15,45 and ttab = 2,021 in a significancy 5 %, it meant that thit > ttab. So, it can be concluded that there was the effect of Value Clarifiaction Technique (VCT) in learning PKn for the fifth grade students of the state elementary school in Kalibukbuk village, Buleleng district, in the regency of Buleleng.
