PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL MAKE A MATCH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SDN 11 PADANGSAMBIAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif melalui penerapan model Make A Match dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan jumlah 136 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu Va dan Vc dengan jumlah 92 orang siswa yang ditentukan dengan random sampling. Data hasil belajar Matematika dikumpulkan menggunakan tes objektif berupa tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis dengan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar Matematika antara siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif melalui penerapan model Make A Match dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Pembelajaran Konvensional pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh thitung > ttabel ( thit = 2.46 > ttabel = 1.98 ) dengan db = 90 ( n1+n2-2 = 92 – 2 = 90 ) dalam taraf signifikansi 5%. Rerata hasil belajar Matematika siswa di kelas eksperimen (71.65) lebih daripada rerata hasil belajar Matematika siswa di kelas kontrol (66.9). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif melalui penerapan model Make A Match berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

This research is aimed to know the significant difference of the study result of Math amongst students who are taught to use active learning strategy with “Make A Match” model with students who are taught to use conventional learning model toward students in grade 5 in SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian period 2013/2014. This research is apseudo research with nonequivalent control group design program. This research population is all students in grade 5 in SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian period 2013/2014 that is consisted of 3 classes with the total of the students is 136 students. The number of the class for research sample is 2 classes, they are 5A and 5B with the total of the students is 92 students with using random sample. The data of Math studying result are compiled with using objective test like multiple choices. The data is analyzed with using “t-test”. The result of the research shows that there are significant differences in Math studying result amongst students who are taught to use active learning strategy with using “Make A Match” model to students who are taught to use conventional learning model in grade 5 SDNegeri 11 Padangsambian period 2013/2014. Based on the result of the research, the writer found thitung > ttabel (thit= 2,46 > ttabel = 1,98) with db = 90 (n1 + n2 – 2 = 92 –2 = 90) with significant standard 5%. The average of Math studying result of the students in the class experiment is (71,65) more than the average of Math studying result of the students in class control (66,9). Therefore, we can conclude that the implementation of active learning strategy with using “Make A Match” model gives impact toward the Math studying result of the students in grade 5 in SD Negeri 11 Padangsambian period 2013/2014.
