PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SRL TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN KONSEPTUAL IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD NO.1 BAKTISERAGA

Abstract

Permasalahan rendahnya pengetahuan konseptual IPA yang ditemukan pada siswa kelas IV di SD No.1 Baktiseraga menjadi masalah utama dilakukan penelitian ini. Indikasi rendahnya pengetahuan konseptual IPA dibuktikan oleh nilai rata-rata ulangan semester 61,78 sedangkan KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah 70,00. Rendahnya kondisi tersebut diduga karena guru-guru dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran masih cenderung menggunakan metode yang kurang inovatif. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui deskripsi pengetahuan konseptual IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, (2) mengetahui deskripsi pengatahuan konseptual IPA siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran self regulated learning (SRL), (3) mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran SRL pengetahuan konseptual IPA siswa dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu, dilaksanakan di SD No.1 Baktiseraga tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Desain penelitian menggunakan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD No.1 Baktiseraga dengan jumlah 48 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah semua anggota populasi yaitu dari kelas IVA 28 orang dan kelas IVB 20 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah pengetahuan konseptual IPA, dengan menggunakan tes obyektif berjumlah 30 butir soal. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) mean (M) pengetahaun konseptual IPA siswa kelompok kontrol sebesar 21,40 berada pada kategori tinggi, (2) Mean (M) pengetahaun konseptual IPA siswa kelompok eksperimen sebesar 24,53 berada pata kategori sangat tinggi, (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran SRL terhadap Pengetahuan konseptual IPA siswa dengan kelompok siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional (thitung> ttabel, thitung=3,54 dan ttabel=2,012).

This research conducted based on the problem which is found in the fourth grade of students in elementary school number one baktiseraga namely low of conceptual knowledge. It is obtained based on the result of the preliminary observation wich is indicates that the average of value of conceptual knowledge outcomes of the fourth grade students of elementary schools number one baktiseraga is below from standard value 70. The low of condition, presumably because the teachers in the learning management still tends to use methods that are less innovative. This study aims: (1) find out the description of conceptual knowledge of the control group students who were taught with conventional learning model, (2) find out the description of conceptual knowledge of the experiment group students who with taught self regulated learning models, (3) find out the effect of significant learning model SRL on the student conseptual knowledge with a student group that learned with conventional models. This type of research is a quasi experiment, carried out in school elementary number one baktiseraga year lesson 2014/2015. The study design using posttest only control group design. The study population was all students fourth grade school elementary number one Baktiseraga with number of 48 people. The samples research were all members of the population namely from IVA class 28 people and IVB class 20 people. The data collected is conceptual knowledge IPA, using objective tests amounted to 30 items. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (t-test). The results showed: (1) mean (M) conceptual knowledge a knowledge science natural a control group students is 21.40 at the high category, (2) mean (M) conceptual knowledge a knowledge science natural a experiment group students is 24,53 at the very high category, (3) there are effect of significant learning model SRL on the conseptual knowledge a student natural science with a student group that learned with conventional models model (tcount>Ttable, Tcount = 3,54 and Ttable = 2,012).
