Efektivitas Metode Demonstrasi Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Napkin Folding Di Kelas XI A3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan napkin folding di kelas XI A3 SMK N 2 Singaraja. Penelitian tindakan kelas, ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, melalui tahap dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, siswa kelas XI A3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja yang berjumlah 39 orang. Data keterampilan siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan data hasil belajar diperoleh dengan tes unjuk kerja. Analisis data yang dilaksanakan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) efektivitas metode demonstrasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh persentase 43, 59 % dan Siklus II diperoleh persentase 87,18 %. Peningkatan keterampilan napkin folding melalui metode demonstrasi diperoleh sebesar 43,59% terkategori terampil.

This research purposed to know 1) improvement of learning skill on demonstration method effectiveness to improve napkin folding skill in grade XI A3 SMK N 2 Singaraja . this class action research, carried out in two cycles, through phase of planning, action implementation, observation or evaluation, and reflection. Research subjects used in this study are students in grade XI A3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja with total of student 39 persons. Student skill’s data was collected by observation method. Learning result data obtained by performance test. Analysis data implemented by means of descriptively. The results showed that (1) the effectiveness of demonstration method to improve students learning skills. Cycle I obtained percentage 43, 59% and Cycle II obtained percentage 87.18%. Improvement of napkin folding skills through demonstration method was obtained at 43.59% skilled categories.
