Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, 1) Penerapan Prinsip 5C dan 7P dalam Pemberian Kredit untuk Meminimalisir Kredit Bermasalah dan Meningkatkan Profitabilitas pada PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar, 2) Kendala-kendala dalam Penerapan Prinsip 5C dan 7P dalam Pemberian Kredit untuk Meminimalisir Kredit Bermasalah dan Meningkatkan Profitabilitas pada PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar Bali, Provinsi Bali. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Informan yang dipilih, yaitu Direktur, Kepala Bidang Kredit, Kepala Bidang Oprasional, Debitur. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, antara lain: 1) Reduksi Data, 2) Penyajian Data dan 3) Keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, 1) analisis 5C dan 7P ini dinilai sudah sangat efektif guna untuk mengetahui layak atau tidak layaknya kredit yang diberikan ke calon debitur, tetap melakukan pembinaan, mengecek langsung ke lokasi usaha debitur untuk mengetahui apa penyebab dari kredit bermasalah, keuntungan yang diperoleh terutama dalam bentuk bunga yang diterima bank sebagai biaya administrasi kredit yang dibebankan kepada debitur. 2) Untuk kendala-kendala yang di alami yaitu tanah yang belum bersertifikat yang dijadikan jaminan hak tanggungan dalam perjanjian kredit oleh debitur. Untuk faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kredit bermasalah yaitu pertama nasabah mengalami penurunan omset penjualan usahanya, nasabah mengalami musibah terkena sakit, terkena PHK. Kendala-kendala penyebab utama dari kegagalan PT. BPR. Pasar Umum dalam meningkatkan profitabilitas karena adanya masalah pada kualitas asset yang bisa disebut kredit bermasalah (non performing loan / NPL).

This study aimed at finding out, 1) the application of principle 5C and 7P in granting credit to minimize troubled credit and increase profitability AT PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar, 2) the constraints in application of principle 5C and 7P in granting credit to minimize troubled credit and increase profitability at PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar. This research used qualitative method. The location of this research was conducted at PT. BPR. Pasar Umum Denpasar, Bali Province. The data needed in this research were primary and secondary data. The selected informants were namely director, head of credit devision, head of oprational devision, and debtor. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interview, observation, and document study. Data analysis was done through three stages namely: 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation and 3) data validity. The result of the research showed that 1) the analysis 5C and 7P was considered very effective in order to find out if proper credit was given to debtor candidate, to keep doing coaching, to check directly to the debtor business location to find out what causes the troubled credit, the profit obtained primarily in the form of interest received by the bank as the administrative cost of the credit imposed on the debtor. 2) For the constraint, it was uncertified land used as a guarantee of mortgage right in credit agreement by the debtor. The factors causing the occurrence of troubled credit were: the customers decreased the business turnover, the customers suffered from illness, the customers affected by dismissal. The main cause constraints of failure of PT. BPR. Pasar Umum in improving profitability due to a problem on the quality of asset called non-performing loans (NPL).
