The research aims to develop an ecobrick module as a P5 project utilizing plastic waste to enhance students' creative dimensions. The developed project module is named the ecobrick module. The study employed a research and development method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection instruments included questionnaires and observation sheets to measure students' creative dimensions. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The population in this study consisted of 26 students, with the sample being the entire population, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The media expert validation results scored 78.3, categorized as good, while the material expert validation scored 94.66, categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the developed module is highly feasible for use. Practicality tests based on student responses scored 86.725, categorized as very good, while teacher responses scored 95.53, also categorized as very good. These results demonstrate that the module is highly practical. Furthermore, the module's effectiveness in enhancing students' creative dimensions was analyzed using a t-test. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejecting the null hypothesis (H0. In conclusion, the P5 module (ecobrick module) developed on the theme of sustainable lifestyles meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective for enhancing students' creative dimensions.
2024-08-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Yusdin Gagaramusu, Azizah, Arianto, Sarintan N Kaharu, Zulnuraini, Adelya Putri Rahayu, Asania Dwi Aditya, Melyani Sari Sitepu https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/IJEE/article/view/84927 The Impact of Combined Problem-Based Learning and Teams Games Tournament on Student Motivation and Academic Achievement 2025-01-17T09:27:21+00:00 Ninda Julia Tita nindajulia.2022@student.uny.ac.id Farida Agus Setiawati farida_as@uny.ac.id Nunung Lusiana nindajulia.2022@student.uny.ac.id Ilfi Intansari nindajulia.2022@student.uny.ac.id
Improving the quality of classroom learning is crucial in addressing issues related to low motivation and academic achievement among students. Based on observations, the classroom learning process is still considered boring and lacks direct student engagement, which leads to low motivation and suboptimal learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of using a combined method to improve motivation and academic achievement separately. The study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative method with an experimental design. Sampling was carried out using purposive random sampling, dividing the sample into two groups: the experimental class and the control class. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, and data analysis was conducted using ANOVA. The results showed that in the academic achievement variable, there was a significant difference between the two classes, with a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than the alpha value of 0.05. The mean score of the experimental class was 83, while the control class had a mean of 75. In the motivation variable, the results also showed a significant difference in means, with a significance value of 0.000. In conclusion, the use of the combined Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) models is proven to be effective in improving academic achievement and motivation separately.
2024-08-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Ninda Julia Tita, Nunung Lusiana, Ilfi Intansari https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/IJEE/article/view/87664 The Effectiveness of Local Wisdom-Based Monopoly Games in Teaching Friendship in Diversity in Indonesian Language Education 2024-12-09T11:58:30+00:00 Ni Wayan Cintya Candani cintya.candani@undiksha.ac.id Maria Goreti Rini Kristiantari mariagoretirini.kristiantari@undiksha.ac.id I Wayan Sujana iwayan.sujana@undiksha.ac.id
Problems in Indonesian language learning in second-grade elementary school often relate to students' lack of engagement in understanding the material in a fun and relevant way. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a local wisdom-based Monopoly game in teaching the topic of friendship in the context of diversity in Indonesian language learning for second-grade students. This research is a development study that uses the ADDIE model. The subjects of the study were 32 second-grade students. Data collection methods and instruments included multiple-choice objective tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques involved both descriptive and inferential quantitative statistics. The results of the study indicate that the local wisdom-based Monopoly game is considered suitable for use in learning. Furthermore, the effectiveness test results showed that t-calculated > t-table, thus rejecting H₀ and accepting H₁. This indicates that the local wisdom-based Monopoly game is effectively applied in teaching Indonesian language on the topic of friendship in diversity for second-grade students. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of a local wisdom-based Monopoly game can improve the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning, particularly on the topic of friendship in diversity, in a more enjoyable and relevant way for students.
2024-08-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Ni Wayan Cintya Candani, Maria Goreti Rini Kristiantari, I Wayan Sujana
