The aim of this study is to analyze the implementation of educational service marketing, identify weaknesses in the applied marketing model, and explore aspects of Local Wisdom-Based Educational Service Marketing in improving the institution's image. This research uses a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. The subjects of the study include the school principal, the vice principal for student affairs, cultural figures, and religious leaders. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, document studies, and focus group discussions (FGD). Data analysis was performed using the model proposed by Miles and Huberman, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data validation was conducted using triangulation techniques, including source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of educational service marketing in this school has not been effective and has not been maximally executed. Identified weaknesses include the lack of structured marketing activities, insufficient use of local wisdom as an attraction in marketing, and a lack of understanding among school members regarding educational service marketing. Furthermore, local wisdom has not been optimally applied in every aspect of the marketing mix. The conclusion of this study is that efforts need to be made to maximize the implementation of educational service marketing by incorporating local wisdom into every aspect of marketing to enhance the institution's image.
2024-10-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Trisnawati L. However, in its implementation, there are various challenges faced by teachers, particularly related to understanding, skills, and support for the program. This study aims to analyze how SMP teachers perceive the implementation of character education in their schools and the challenges that arise in its development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with 30 SMP teachers as the subjects of the study. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and frequency distributions. The results of the study show that the majority of teachers, 93.31%, have a positive perspective on the implementation of character education in SMP. However, although the implementation is already good, there is still room for improvement in achieving more optimal outcomes. Therefore, it can be concluded that character education has been well implemented, but further socialization and training for teachers regarding mastery of technology and information are necessary to optimally support the character education program.
2024-10-25T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Syahbudin, Darnawati, Irawaty, Sitti Rahmaniar Abubakar, Sri Yuliani Mustarhttps://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/IVCEJ/article/view/84545Indonesian Cultural Values as Pillars of Academic Resilience: A Study on Indonesian Higher Education Students 2024-09-10T02:13:27+00:00Dian Veronika Sakti Kaloetidvs.kaloeti@live.undip.ac.idAyu Kurnia Sdianaindra1004@gmail.comNi Luh Indah Desira Swandidianaindra1004@gmail.comGalang Lufityantodianaindra1004@gmail.comNur Diana Indrawatidianaindra1004@gmail.com
This study identifies the challenges faced by students in higher education, which require academic resilience to overcome effectively. In the context of higher education, the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach offers a solution by emphasizing clear and measurable learning outcomes, while the character values of Mpu Kuturan can reinforce students' moral and ethical dimensions. This study aims to develop an OBE-based RPS integrated with Mpu Kuturan’s character values to enhance the quality of higher education. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Data were collected through document analysis, interviews with lecturers, and classroom observations. The research subjects included subject matter experts, policy administrators, teaching practitioners (lecturers), and postgraduate students in Hindu Religious Education. The instruments used included questionnaires, and data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings indicate that developing an OBE-based RPS integrated with Mpu Kuturan’s character values is highly feasible for implementation in the Master’s Program of Hindu Religious Education. The developed RPS not only enhances curriculum relevance but also strengthens students' commitment to academic ethics and increases their engagement in learning. Thus, this approach can serve as an innovative model for designing higher education curricula based on character values and learning outcomes.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Ni Rai Vivien Pitriani, Luh Putu Widya Fitriani, Komang Ayu Susenihttps://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/IVCEJ/article/view/79560Reevaluating Moral Education: Addressing Bullying in Schools Through a Collaborative Framework 2025-01-20T08:35:23+00:00Darwindarwinpeudaya@email.comMuhammad ARmuhammad.ar@ar-raniry.ac.idSilahuddinsilahuddin@ar-raniry.ac.id
Bullying in educational settings remains a significant challenge, despite the integration of moral education into the curriculum aimed at shaping students' character and reducing negative behaviors.
