UJI EFEKTIVITAS EKSTRAK DAUN KAMBOJA (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) TERHADAP MORTALITAS LARVA NYAMUK Culex vishnui

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan mortalitas larva nyamuk Culex vishnui akibat variasi konsentrasi ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor.), dan (2) konsentrasi ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) yang diperlukan untuk dapat membunuh 50% (LC50) larva nyamuk Culex vishnui. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen sungguhan. Perbedaan konsentrasi ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 0%, 15%, 30%, 45% dan 60%. Efek perlakuan dalam penelitian adalah adanya mortalitas larva nyamuk Culex vishnui. Rancangan penelitan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan dasar desainnya The Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh larva nyamuk Culex vishnui yang di dapatkan di sawah di Desa Tangguwisia, Kecamatan Seririt, sedangkan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian adalah 250 sampel larva instar III nyamuk Culex vishnui hasil kolonisasi. Data dianalisis secara statistik yaitu dengan uji ANAVA satu arah dan analisis probit. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) ada perbedaan mortalitas larva nyamuk Culex vishnui akibat pemberian ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda dan semua variasi ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) memiliki perbedaan yang nyata atau signifikan, dan (2) konsentrasi ekstrak daun kamboja (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) yang diperlukan untuk mematikan 50% (LC 50) larva nyamuk Culex vishnui yaitu sebesar 31, 42%.

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the various mortality of Culex vishnui larvae due to variations in the concentration of leaf extract frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor), and (2) the concentration of leaf extract Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor needed to be able to kill 50% (LC50) Culex vishnui larvae. This study was a real experiment. The various in concentration of leaf extract frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) were used in this study were 0%, 15%, 30%, 45% and 60%. The effects of treatment in this study was the mortality of mosquito larvae Culex vishnui. The research design that in this study was Completely Randomized Design with a basic design The Randomized Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all larvae mosquitoes Culex vishnui, that get in the rice fields Tangguwisia village, Seririt, while the sample in this study were 250 samples of the third instar larvae mosquitoes Culex vishnui colonization results. The data were analyzed statistically, it used one-way ANOVA test and probit analysis. The results of this study are: (1) There are various in the mortality of larvae mosquitoes Culex vishnui due leaf extract of frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) with various concentrations and all variations leaf extract of frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) has a real or significant differences. (2) The needed extract of frangipani (Plumeria rubra L. f. tricolor) to turn off 50% (LC50) larvae mosquitoes Culex vishnui in the amount of 31.42%.
