ANALISIS KEANEKARAGAMAN SPESIES DAN UPAYA PELESTARIAN VEGETASI HUTAN PUAKAN, DI DUSUN PUAKAN, DESA TARO, TEGALALANG GIANYAR

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi spesies, keanekaragaman spesies, dan upaya pelestarian pada kawasan vegetasi Hutan Puakan. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari populasi ekosistem meliputi vegetasi, faktor edafik dan klimatik serta populasi sosiosistem yaitu masyarakat Dusun Puakan, Desa Taro dan sampel terdiri dari spesies tumbuhan dan aparat desa sebanyak 15 orang. Pengambilan data komposisi spesies, keanekaragaman spesies dan titik sebaran spesies menggunakan metode kuadrat dan pengambilan data upaya pelestarian dengan metode wawancara. Data dianalisis secara statistik ekologi dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi spesies yang menyusun lokasi penelitian terdiri atas 146 individu, indeks keanekaragaman spesies tertinggi dimiliki oleh Ficus altissima. sebesar 0,27, upaya pelestarian meliputi melakukan reboisasi, menerapkan sistem tebang pilih, menerapkan sistem tebang-tanam, melakukan penebangan secara konservatif, memberikan sangsi bagi penebang yang melakukan penebangan sembarangan, tidak membuang sampah sembarangan di hutan, melindungi dan menjaga habitat yang ada di hutan. tidak mencoret-coret pohon yang ada di hutan, mengidentifikasi dan mencegah terjadinya kebakaran hutan dan melakukan seminar pelestarian hutan, titik koordinat spesie sebanyak 146 titik koordinat.Kata Kunci : komposisi spesies, keanekaragaman spesies, upaya pelestarian, titik koordinat spesies, kawasan Hutan Puakan
The purposes of this research were to know the composition of species, species diversity and conservation efforts species in the vegetation area of Forest Puakan. The population and samples in this research consisted of ecosystem populations including vegetation, edafic and climatic factors and the sociosystem were society of Taro Village and the sample were species of plant and 15 person of village apparatus. Data retrieval of species composition, species diversity and point of distribution of species used quadratic method and data retrieval of conservation effort used interview method. Data analyzed in ecological statistic and descriptive. The results showed that the composition of the species that composed the research site consisted of 146 individuals, the highest species diversity index was owned by Ficus altissima in the amount of 0.27, conservation efforts includes reforestation, implementing selective logging, implementing slash-planting systems, conservatively harvesting, sanctions for loggers who are felling haphazardly, not littering in the forest, protecting and preserving the habitats in the forest, do not scribble trees in the forest, identify and prevent forest fires and conduct forest conservation seminars, the species distribution point as much as 146 point coordinates.
