ANALISIS POLA SEBARAN, KEBERMANFAATAN, DAN PREDIKSI PRODUKSI BUAH DAN DAUN LONTAR DI DESA LABA SARI KECAMATAN ABANG KABUPATEN KARANGASEM

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui; (1) pola sebaran Borassus flabellifer yang ada di Desa Laba Sari, Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem; (2) kebermanfaatan Borassus flabellifer yang ada di Desa Laba Sari, Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem; (3) besarnya prediksi produksi buah dan daun Borassus flabellifer yang ada di Desa Laba Sari, Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh spesies Borassus flabellifer yang ada di Desa Laba Sari, Kecamatan Abang, Kabupaten Karangasem. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah spesies Borassus flabellifer di Desa Laba Sari yang terkaver dalam kuadrat yang berjumlah 100 kuadrat dengan ukuran 20x20 meter. Metode yang digunakan untuk mendata pola sebaran adalah metode kuadrat dengan teknik random sampling. Untuk kebermanfaatan dan produksi digunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan statistik ekologi dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) pola sebaran Borassus flabellifer yang ada di Desa Laba Sari adalah pola sebaran mengelompok. 2) Pemanfaatan tumbuhan lontar paling banyak dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan rumah tangga (25%) dan organ tumbuhan lontar paling banyak dimanfaatkan adalah daun lontar (41,7%). 3) Prediksi produksi buah tumbuhan lontar yang ada di Desa Laba Sari adalah sebesar 200.000 buah dan untuk daun adalah sebesar 10.000.000 helai daun.

The purpose of this research was to know; (1) Borassus flabellifer distribution patterns in the village Laba Sari, District Abang, Karangasem regency; (2) Borassus flabellifer usefulness in the village Laba Sari, District Abang, Karangasem regency; (3) the amount of fruit and leaf production forecast Borassus flabellifer in the village Laba Sari, District Abang, Karangasem regency. The kind of this research is explorative research. The research population was all the species Borassus flabellifer in the village Laba Sari, District Abang, Karangasem regency. The sample in this research is a species of Borassus flabellifer in the village Laba Sari that covered in squares of 100 squares with a size of 20x20 meters. The method used for the distribution pattern is a method of squares with random sampling techniques. For the usefulness and the production method is used observation and interviews. The collected data were analyzed using statistics ecology. The results of this research showed (1) Borassus flabellifer distribution patterns in the village Laba Sari is clumped distribution pattern. (2) Utilization of palm plants most widely used for domestic purposes (25%) and palm plant organs is the most widely used palm leaves (41.7%). (3) Prediction production palm fruit plant in the village Laba Sari amounted to 200,000 fruit and leaf amounted to 10,000,000 leaves.
