PENGEMBANGAN LKS BERBASIS SIKLUS BELAJAR 5E UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA PADA MATERI SISTEM REPRODUKSI DI KELAS XI SMA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan hasil pengembangan LKS berbasis siklus belajar 5E berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli; (2) mengetahui hasil uji coba LKS pada siswa perorangan dan kelompok kecil; (3) mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan LKS terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research dan Development) mengacu model 4-D. Validator penelitian ini ahli teknologi pembelajaran, ahli isi dan guru biologi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja berjumlah 36 siswa. Sampel penelitian 3 kelompok terdiri dari 3 orang dengan prestasi belajar berbeda. Metode pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk kelayakan LKS dan asesmen kinerja untuk keterampilan proses sains. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini (1) kelayakan LKS dari hasil penilaian oleh ahli teknologi pembelajaran, ahli isi dan guru biologi sebesar 91,87% tergolong sangat layak dan valid dengan terpenuhinya semua aspek kriteria validasi. (2) Respon siswa terhadap LKS baik secara perorangan dan kelompok kecil sebesar 89,82% tergolong layak dan valid serta mampu mengasah keterampilan proses sains siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja. (3) Efektivitas penggunaan LKS terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata siswa dari 50,27 menjadi 78,21.

This aims of this research (1) to describe the feasibility of the development of worksheets based 5E learning cycle based on an assessment by experts; (2) determine the test results worksheets on individual students and small groups; (3) determine the effectiveness of the use of worksheets to students' science process skills. This study is a research and development reference model 4-D. This research validator expert learning technology, content expert and biology teacher. The subjects of this research were students of class XI MIA 2 SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja total of 36 students. The sample of this research consisted of three groups of three people with different learning achievement. Methods of the data collection was a questionnaire for the feasibility and performance assessment worksheets for science process skills. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and descriptive statistics. The results of this research (1) feasibility of developing LKS results of the assessment by expert instructional technology, expert content and biology teacher at 91.87% as very feasible and valid to the fulfillment of all aspects of the validation criteria. (2) The response of students to the worksheets both individuals and small groups of 89.82% considered adequate and valid and able to hone students science process skills in SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja. (3) The effectiveness of worksheets against science process skills of students showed an increase in the average value of students from 50.27 into 78.21.
