PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) DAN STUDENT TEAM ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION (STAD) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 6 SINGARAJA

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran, berbagai masalah yang sering dijumpai diantaranya siswa kurang mampu memahami materi pelajaran yang disampaikan guru sehingga hasil belajar siswa kurang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 357 orang dan terbagi menjadi 12 rombongan belajar. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dilakukan dengan menggunakan undian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII B5 sebagai kelas yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dan kelas VII B7 sebagai kelas yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar IPA. Selanjutnya hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji-t. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung > ttabel pada taraf signifikansi yang diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) lebih tinggi dari siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division yaitu 85,84>72,16. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja.

There was various problems that are found during the lesson, for examples students were less able to understand the subject matter that taugh by teachers, so the learning outcomes lower than expected. This study aims to know significant differences of learning outcomes in Science subjects between students who learned using cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) and students who learned using the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This study was a quasi-experimental research (quasi experiment), that used a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 6 Singaraja in academic year 2015/2016, amounting to 357 people and divided into 12 classes. The technique that used to select the samples is done by simple random sampling technique using a lottery. The samples in this research is class VII B5 as classroom that learning use cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) and class VII B7 as classroom that learning use cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). The data in this research collect used the test results of science subjects. Furthermore, the test results were analyzed using descriptive analysis and t-test. From the results of the hypothesis test obtained thitung> ttable with value of the significance level 0.000 <0.05. The average value of the learning outcomes of students who take science learning with cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) are more higher than students who take learning with cooperative learning model type Student Team Achievment Division (85.84> 72.16). This means that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) has an effect on learning outcomes in Science subjects at the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 6 Singaraja.
