Pengaruh Lama Perendaman Sabut Kelapa sebagai Pupuk Organik Cair terhadap Pertumbuhan Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) lama perendaman sabut kelapa sebagai pupuk organik cair dapat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.), (2) lama waktu perendaman sabut kelapa yang terbaik sebagai pupuk organik cair untuk pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.). Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian eksperimen dan rancangan penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Air rendaman sabut kelapa dengan perbedaan lama perendaman yaitu 0 hari (kontrol), 1 hari, 7 hari, 14 hari, 21 hari dan 28 hari, variabel terikat adalah Pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.)dan variabel kontrol adalah media tumbuh, lingkungan, dan genetis. Analisis data dengan uji hipotesisdengan ANAVA satu arah dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian ini bahwa (1) lama perendaman sabut kelapa mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis dengan ANAVA satu arah diperoleh nilai F hitung > F tabel yakni 9,987 > 1,714 menunjukkan bahwa pemberian air rendaman sabut kelapa dengan lama perendaman yang berbeda memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.), (2) lama perendaman sabut kelapa yang menghasilkan berat kering tertinggi adalah lama perendaman selama 14 hari.

This studyaimed to determine (1) soaking period of coconut coir as a liquid organic fertilizer, can affect the growth of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.), (2) soaking period of coconut coir is best as liquid organic fertilizer for the growth of Arachis hypogaea L.the type of reseach is an experimental research, and the research design was completely randomized design. The independent variables were soaking water coconut coir with soaking time difference is 0day (control), 1day, 7days, 14days, 21days and 28days, dependent variable is the growth of Arachis hypogaea L., the control variable is the growing medium, environment, and genetic. Data were analyzed using statistical test prerequisites, namely normality test and homogeneity test followed by a hypothesis test and One Way Anova and the continued is Least Significant Difference test (LSD). The results of this research are (1) soaking period of coconut coir peanut affect plant growth. Based on the hypothesis test Anova One Way, obtained F count> F table that 9.987> 1.714, showed that the the soaking water coconut coir with different soaking period a significant influence on the growth of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.), (2) soaking period of coconut coir that resulted in the highest for dry weight of plant growth is soaking period for 14 days.
