The research method used is qualitative with a listening and note-taking approach via videos available on the internet. Japan has one form of politics in it, namely: Sakoku politics. In the Sakoku political system there are no foreign communities, especially communities. Japan opposed the order of Shogun Tokugawa Ieasu to enter Japanese territory for foreigners and local people were not allowed to travel or leave Japanese territory. Research using qualitative methods, this research aims to understand and analyze through YouTube sources with the outline of the discussion being "politics sakoku" / "lockdown system" at that time. The Jabar Masagi program emphasizes Sundanese values, such as religiosity and cultural awareness, with a focus on four core values: Surti, Harti, Bukti, and Bakti. Meanwhile, character education in Japan encompasses four aspects: Regarding Self, Relation to Others, Relation to Nature and the Sublime, and Relation to Group and Society. Despite differences in focus and activities, both demonstrate similarities in collaborative approaches and environmental appreciation. This research provides insights into effective and culturally relevant character education approaches. This research aims to find out what are the moral messages contained in the movie "Yu Wo Wakasuhodo No Atsui Ai" or Her Love Boils Bathwater. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, while the research problem is reviewed from the documentation of images and words. The forms of moral messages found will be collected into image documentation and words. The results obtained are 7 moral messages that are in accordance with Suseno's theory (2007: 142-149), namely honesty, being yourself, responsibility, independence, moral courage, humility and crisis attitude. Metode penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif, yaitu dengan mengumpulkan, membaca lalu menganalisisnya. Data yang digunakan adalah dari koran lembaga kesehatan Jepang yaitu lembaga kumo no ito dan life link. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan kerja sama antara pemerintahan Jepang, tenaga kesehatan, dan masyarakat mampu menurunkan kasus kematian akibat bunuh diri melalui dukungan perawatan kesehatan mental dan memperkuat keamanan untuk pencegahannya.</span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The purpose of this research is to analyze the handling of cases of death in Japan due to suicide through newspapers and also analyze the increase and decrease in data. The research method used is descriptive, namely collecting data, reading, and then analyzing it. The data that being used is from Japanese health organization newspaper data, namely from kumo no ito and life link institute. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode simak dan catat, melalui video youtube. Metode simak adalah &nbsp;penyediaan data yang dilakukan dengan menyimak data penggunaan bahasa Sudaryanto (1993: 133). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pandangan <em>inkya</em> dan <em>youkya</em> terhadap sosial sangat berbeda, melalui identitas, sikap dan perilaku. Keterampilan ini memiliki signifikansi karena banyak kata-kata asli dalam bahasa Jepang, seperti nama tempat dan objek, ditulis dengan huruf Hiragana. Biasanya, pembelajaran Hiragana ditekankan sebelum mempelajari Katakana dan Kanji, terutama pada tahap awal pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan <em>quasi eksperimental</em> sebagai metodologi. Metode ini dipilih karena sesuai dengan karakteristik sampel penelitian, yang terdiri dari kelompok pembanding atau kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sudah ditetapkan sebelumnya dan tidak dipilih secara acak, mengikuti desain <em>nonequivalent control group</em> (Sugiyono, 2014). Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan <em>Mann-Whitney Test</em>, nilai <em>Asymp. Sig</em> (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan <em>Power Point Powtoon </em>&nbsp;memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan dalam menghafal huruf Hiragana. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan media <em>Power Point Powtoon </em>&nbsp;memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan dalam menghafal huruf Hiragana. Meskipun beberapa data tidak mengikuti distribusi normal, uji <em>Mann-Whitney </em>menunjukkan nilai signifikan, menegaskan bahwa dampak media tersebut cukup besar. This proficiency is crucial as native Japanese words, such as place names and objects, are written in Hiragana. Typically, the learning sequence prioritizes Hiragana before delving into Katakana and Kanji, especially in the early stages of high school.</em> <em>The research employed a quasi-experimental approach as its methodology. This method was chosen to align with the characteristics of the research sample, comprising a control group and an experimental group. The assignment of these groups was predetermined and not randomly selected, following a nonequivalent control group design (Sugiyono, 2014).</em> <em>Based on the findings from the Mann-Whitney Test, the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This indicates that the use of Power Point Powtoon &nbsp;has a significant impact on the ability of 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan to memorize Hiragana characters.</em> <em>In conclusion, this study suggests that the utilization of Power Point Powtoon &nbsp;positively influences the proficiency of 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan in memorizing Hiragana characters. Despite some data not following a normal distribution, the Mann-Whitney Test results show significant value, supporting the notion that the impact of the media is substantial. The elderly in Japan are respected as guardians of traditional values, but face challenges such as changes in family structure, social isolation, health problems, and the impact of economic and technological change. Previous research has explored eating patterns, cultural values such as ikigai, the digital divide, and intergenerational interactions. </em></p> <p><em>This research adopts a unique approach using video analysis to further understand the lifestyle of elderly people in the city of Tokyo. Research methods involve qualitative analysis, document analysis, and visual observation. Qualitative findings involve the social dynamics, activity patterns, and emotional well-being of older adults. Document analysis highlights senior-friendly urban policies and social/recreational programs. Visual observations reveal emotional expressions and inequalities in the accessibility of public facilities.</em></p> <p><em>The results of the integration of findings from the three methods show that social involvement and various activities contribute to the well-being of the elderly. Accessibility challenges need to be addressed through inclusive urban planning, while public policy can play an important role in creating an environment that supports the quality of life of seniors. Emphasis is also placed on the emotional aspects and mental well-being of the elderly. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi scene dari durasi dalam <em>film </em>Teke-teke yang menggambarkan persahabatan tokoh utama dalam menghadapi ancaman hantu Teke-teke. Menggunakan teknik validitas triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif semiotika Roland Barthes yang mengacu pada sistem pemaknaan denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang dapat digunakan dalam mengenali dan memahami tanda-tanda serta makna yang ditampilkan dalam iklan McDonald’s <em>Anime</em> 2 (2016) sebagai objek penelitian.
