Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan: (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks berita melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT; (2) mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam belajar menulis teks berita melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT; dan (3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran menulis teks berita melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 4 Kubutambahan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis meggunakan model analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) pelaksanaan model pembelajaran tipe NHT sudah direalisasikan dengan baik, dilihat dari kesesuaian RPP dengan realisasi di lapangan sudah berjalan dengan baik, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran yakni dapat membuat siswa menulis teks berita sudah tercapai dengan hasil yang dikumpulkan berupa produk yaitu teks berita; (2) hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita melalui model pembelajaran tipe NHT disebabkan oleh faktor siswa, kurangnya waktu yang tersedia, dan minimnya peralatan penunjang pembelajaran; dan (3) respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran tipe NHT tergolong baik. Hal ini, dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, terjalinnya interaksi antar siswa yang baik, suasana kelas menjadi lebih bervariasi, dan memudahkan siswa untuk memahami prosedur penulisan teks berita sehingga dapat menghasilkan teks berita.

This research aims to describe: (1) the implementation of learning news text writing through NHT type cooperative learning model; (2) to know the obstacles faced by teachers in learning to write news text through cooperative learning model type NHT; And (3) to know the student's response to the learning of writing news text through NHT type cooperative learning model. Subjects in this study are Indonesian language teachers class and students of class VIII E SMP Negeri 4 Kubutambahan. Methods of data collection in this study using documentation techniques, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis model. The results of this study indicate: (1) the implementation of NHT type learning model has been realized well, seen from the conformity of RPP with realization in the field has been running well, so that the purpose of learning that can make students write news text has been achieved with the results collected in the form of a news text products; (2) obstacles faced by teachers in learning to write news text through NHT type learning models caused by student factors, lack of time available, and lack of learning support tools; And (3) students' responses to NHT type learning models are good. This can be seen from the increase of students' motivation in following the learning, the interaction between students is good, the classroom becomes more varied, and easier for students to understand the procedure of writing the news text so that it can produce the news text.
