Pengorganisasian Karangan Eksposisi Siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani Ditinjau dari Teknik Pengembangan Kohesi dan Koherensi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan kohesi dan (2) mendeskripsikan pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan koherensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode tes dan dokumentasi. Metode tes digunakan untuk menjawab kedua rumusan masalah yakni (1) pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan kohesi dan (2 pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan koherensi. Sedangkan metode dokumentasi digunakan untuk mencatat dan mendukung data yang telah ditemukan dari hasil tulisan siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah karangan eksposisi karya siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan kohesi dan koherensi. Data ini kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa karangan eksposisi siswa ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan kohesi dan koherensi karya siswa sebagian besar sudah memenuhi struktur karangan yang meliputi bagian awal, isi, dan penutup. Pengorganisasian karangan eksposisi siswa yang ditinjau dari teknik pengembangan kohesi dan koherensi sudah bisa dikategorikan baik dan sesuai dengan struktur karangan yang bisa dilihat dari pembuka, isi, dan penutup. Karangan yang dihasilkan oleh siswa sebagian besar pantas dengan jenjang pendidikan yaitu sekolah menengah ke atas dilihat dari perkembangan psikologi, moral, dan jenjang pendidikan.

This study aimed to (1) describe the XI grade students’ exposition essay’s organization in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani in terms of technical development of cohesion; and (2) to describe the XI grade students’ exposition essay’s organization in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani in terms of technical development of coherence. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. Data was collected by using test and documentation methods. Test method was used to answer both the research problem: (1) the XI grade students’ exposition essay’s organization in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani in terms of technical development of cohesion; (2) the XI grade students’ exposition essay’s organization in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani in terms of technical development of coherence. Meanwhile documentation method was used to record and support the data that had been obtained from the students' writing work. Subject in this research was the XI grade students’ exposition essay in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani. Object in this research the XI grade students’ exposition essay’s organization in SMK Negeri 3 Kintamani in terms of technical development of cohesion and coherence. The data was then analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. Results of this research revealed that most of the students’ exposition essay’s organization in terms of technical development of cohesion and coherence had had the full structure of an essay that covered introduction, content, and closing. The students’ exposition essay’s organization in terms of technical development of cohesion and coherence could be categorized as good and appropriate with the structure of an essay that could be seen from the introduction, content, and closing. Mos of the students’ essays were proper with educational level that was viewed from developmental psychology, moral, and education level.
