PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TEKNIK TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TSTS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK SISWA KELAS VIII 1 SMP NEGERI 4 TEJAKULA

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang tepat dalam menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa, (2) keterampilan menyimak siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS, dan (3) respons siswa terhadap penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS dalam pembelajaran menyimak. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VIII 1 SMP Negeri 4 Tejakula. Objek penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah pembelajaran menyimak, keterampilan menyimak siswa, serta respons siswa mengenai penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS dalam pembelajaran menyimak. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan (1) metode tes (2) metode observasi, dan (3) metode angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik deskriptif-kualitatif dan deskriptif-kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat empat langkah utama dalam penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS, (2) keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas VIII 1 SMP Negeri 4 Tejakula meningkat dengan perolehan skor rata-rata refleksi awal yaitu 66 menjadi 72,8 pada siklus I dan menjadi 86,5 pada siklus II, dan (3) siswa memberikan respons sangat positif terhadap penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif teknik TSTS dalam pembelajaran menyimak dengan skor rata-rata respons siswa 44,7 pada siklus I dan menjadi 45,9 pada siklus II.Kata Kunci : kooperatif, TSTS, menyimak
Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to describe (1) the steps in applying appropriate learning TSTS cooperative learning techniques to improve students' listening skills, (2) listening skills of students by implementing cooperative learning techniques TSTS, and (3) the response of students to the TSTS implementation of cooperative learning techniques in teaching listening. The subjects were Indonesian teacher and eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 4 Tejakula. Object of this research is learning steps listening, listening skills of students, as well as the student's response on the application of cooperative learning techniques in teaching listening TSTS. Collecting data in this study using (1) the test method (2) the method of observation, and (3) the questionnaire method. The data obtained were analyzed by using descriptive-qualitative and quantitative-descriptive. The results of this study indicate that (1) there are four main steps in the application of cooperative learning techniques TSTS, (2) listening skills of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 4 Tejakula increased with the acquisition of the average score early reflections is 66 to 72.8 in the first cycle and to 86.5 in the second cycle, and (3) students responded very positively to the implementation of cooperative learning techniques in teaching listening TSTS with an average score of a student's response in the first cycle and 44.7 to 45.9 in the second cycle.
