ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) tingkat keterbacaan buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (2) mendeskripsikan tingkat kemudahan/ kesukaran buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (3) mendeskripsikan tingkat keterpahaman buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (4) mendeskripsikankemenarikan buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh.
Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, tes dan wawancara.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat keterbacaan menggunakan uji tes rumpang terhadap bacaan eksposisi dan persuasi dalam buku teks bahasa Indonesia kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Blahbatuh sudah memenuhi syarat. Tingkat keterbacaannya berada pada rentangan 47-58 yang tergolong sedang atau menunjukkan bahan bacaan sesuai bagi siswa, (2) tingkat kemudahan/ kesukaran buku teks tahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh diketahui bahwa pada umumnya buku teks pelajaran itu mudah dipahami karena penyajian suatu materi tersebut disertai gambar, dikaitkan dengan pengetahuan siswa, dan disesuaikan dengan pengalaman siswa, (3) tingkat keterpahaman buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh dalam hal ini diwakili bacaan eksposisi dan bacaan persuasi, maka ada 41 orang siswa yang mampu membaca teks persuasi dan teks eksposisi dari bacaan 1 ada 33 orang, teks eksposisi bacaan 2 ada 36 orang dan teks eksposisi dari bacaan 3 ada 38 orang siswa yang mampu membaca teks eksposisi, (4) kemenarikan buku teks bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh pada umumnya sangat menarik yang diungkapkan oleh 43 siswa yang menjadi responden. Adapun ketika dikonfirmasi kepada siswa alasan pernyataan tersebut dinyatakan bahwa buku teks pelajaran berstandar nasional menarik karena menggunakan gambar atau ilustrasi yang memperjelas isi materi yang disajikan dan menggunakan huruf/bacaan yang jelas dan terbaca.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe (1) the level of legibility Indonesian textbooks for students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (2) describe the level of ease / difficulty Indonesian textbook for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (3) keterpahaman level textbook describes the Indonesian language for students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh, (4) mendeskripsikankemenarikan Indonesian textbooks for students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh.
The study used a descriptive qualitative research and quantitative descriptive. The subjects were students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Data collection in this study using observation, documentation, testing and interviews.
The results of this study indicate that (1) the level of readability tests using test reading hiatus for exposition and persuasion in Indonesian textbooks XI IPA 1 SMAN 1 Blahbatuh already qualified. Readability levels are in the range of 47-58 were classified as moderate or demonstrate appropriate reading materials for students, (2) the level of ease / difficulty tahasa Indonesia textbook for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh known that in general textbooks is easy to understand because the presentation of a material is accompanied by a picture, linked to student learning, and tailored to the student experience, (3) the level of Indonesian keterpahaman textbooks for students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh represented in this case reading passages of exposition and persuasion, then there 41 students were able to read the text of persuasion and exposition of the text there are 33 people reading 1, reading 2 text exposition there are 36 people and exposition of the reading text 3 there are 38 students who are able to read the text exposition, (4) kemenarikan Indonesian language textbooks class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Blahbatuh generally very attractive expressed by the 43 students who were respondents. As for when it was confirmed to the students the reason the statement stated that a national standard textbooks interesting because it uses pictures or illustrations that clarify the content of the material presented and use letters / readings are clear and legible.
