PENGGUNAAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK BERMEDIA VIDEO PETUALANGAN ANAK “SI BOLANG” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS CERPEN PADA SISWA KELAS VII 15 SMP NEGERI 2 SINGARAJA

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui langkah-langkah efektif penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang”, (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen melalui pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang”, dan (3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang” dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seorang guru dan siswa kelas VII 15 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Objek penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang”, peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerpen melalui pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang”, dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang” dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes, kuesioner, dan wawancara serta menggunakan metode analisis data deskriptif kualitatif-kuantitatif berupa refleksi awal, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si Bolang” dilakukan dengan beberapa langkah sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran yang dirancang, (2) penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si bolang” dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas VII 15 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, (3) penggunaan pendekatan saintifik bermedia video anak “Si bolang” dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen mendapat respons sangat positif dari siswa. Peningkatan skor menulis cerpen siswa dapat dilihat dalam perbandingan skor rata-rata klasikal. Sebelum diadakan tindakan, skor rata-rata klasikal 68. Skor tersebut meningkat menjadi 78 pada siklus I. Pada siklus II, skor rata-rata naik lagi menjadi 85.Kata Kunci : menulis cerpen, pendekatan saintifik, media video anak
This classroom action research aims to (1) determine effective measures use the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang", (2) to increase the ability of students to write short stories through the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang", and (3) know the response of students to use the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang" in enhancing the ability to write short stories in class VII SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. The subjects were a teacher and 15 students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. The object of this research is a step-by-step scientific approach to the use of media video child "Si Bolang", increase the ability of students to write short stories through the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang", and the response of the students to use the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang" in improving the ability to write short stories. This study used data collection methods such as observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews and analysis method qualitative-quantitative descriptive data in the form of early reflection, action planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The results showed that (1) the use of the scientific approach of media video child "Si Bolang" done with a few steps in accordance with lesson plans designed, (2) use the scientific approach of media video child "Si bolang" can improve students' ability to write a short story class VII 15 SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja, (3) the use of the scientific approach of media video child "Si bolang" in learning to write short stories got a very positive response from students. Improved scores students to write short stories can be seen in a comparison of the average score classical. Prior to the act, the average score of classical 68. The score increased to 78 in cycle I. In the second cycle, the average score rose again to 85.
