PENGUATAN VERBAL DAN NONVERBAL GURU BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM MELAKSANAKAN PEMBELAJARAN TEKS CERPEN DI KELAS VIIG SMP N 1 BANJAR

Penelitian yang berjudul “Penguatan Verbal dan Nonverbal Guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam Melaksanakan Pembelajaran Teks Cerpen di Kelas VIIG SMP Negeri 1 Banjar” bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) penguatan verbal guru dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen di kelas VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar, (2) penguatan nonverbal guru dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen di kelas VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar, serta (3) fungsi penguatan verbal dan nonverbal guru dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen di kelas VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di kelas VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar dan objek penelitiannya adalah penguatan verbal dan nonverbal guru dalam pembelajaran teks cerpen di kelas VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui metode observasi dan metode wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) penguatan verbal yang digunakan guru berupa kata “bagus, tepat, benar, dan cukup bagus”; (2) penguatan nonverbalnya berupa ekspresi wajah, gerakan tangan, gerakan mendekati, penguatan tanda, dan sentuhan; (3) Tuturan penguatan verbal guru mengandung fungsi ekspresif, fungsi representatif, dan fungsi direktif, sedangkan tuturan penguatan nonverbal mengandung fungsi repetisi dan fungsi subtitusi; (4) Penguatan gabungan yang digunakan guru berupa kata “bagus dan benar” disertai dengan acungan jempol dan tepuk tangan.Kata Kunci : penguatan verbal, penguatan nonverbal, dan pembelajaran teks cerpen
The study, entitled "Verbal and Nonverbal Reinforcement Teacher Indonesian Implement Learning Text Short Story in Class VIIG SMP Negeri 1 Banjar" aims to describe (1) the strengthening of verbal teachers in instructional text stories in class VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar, (2) strengthening nonverbal teachers in the classroom learning the short story text VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar, and (3) strengthening the functions of verbal and nonverbal teacher in the classroom learning the short story text VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar. This study used a qualitative descriptive design. Subjects were Indonesian teachers who teach in the classroom VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar and the object of research is the strengthening of verbal and nonverbal teacher in the classroom learning the short story text VIIG SMP N 1 Banjar. The research data were collected through observation and interview methods. Results of this study were (1) strengthening teachers used verbal form of the word "good, right, true, and good enough"; (2) strengthening nonverbal form of facial expressions, hand gestures, movement approaching, strengthening of the mark, and touch; (3) speech teacher verbal reinforcement containing expressive function, representative function, and the function of the directive, while strengthening the functions of nonverbal reps and function substitution; (4) Strengthening the combined used by teachers in the form of the word "good and right" accompanied by a thumbs up and applause.
