PENERAPAN METODE DEMONSTRASI GURU BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKS PROSEDUR PADA SISWA KELAS VIII A1 SMP NEGERI 3 SAWAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) langkah-langkah penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur siswa kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan, (2) hasil belajar siswa terhadap penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur siswa kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan, dan (3) respons siswa terhadap penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur siswa kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A1 dan guru bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di kelas VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan. Objek penelitian adalah penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan angket/kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) langkah-langkah penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Dalam setiap tahapan, guru sudah memenuhi standar pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang ditentukan. Keberhasilan tersebut dapat diperhatikan dari terpenuhinya keseluruhan sintak atau prosedur standar penyusunan langkah pembelajaran dengan metode demonstrasi. (2) hasil belajar siswa terhadap penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur tergolong tuntas. Keberhasilan tersebut dilihati dari jumlah siswa yang kebanyakan mendapat nilai di atas KKM. (3) respons siswa terhadap penerapan metode demonstrasi guru bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur sebagian besar menyampaikan bahwa mereka senang.

This research aims to describes (1) the steps of demonstration method implementation of Indonesian language teacher in the procedure text learning of students VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan, (2) students learning outcomes to the demonstration method implementation of Indonesian language teacher in the procedure text learning of students VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan, and (3) student’s response to the implementation of demonstration method of teacher in the procedure text learning of students VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan. The Subject in this research are students of VIII A1 and the Indonesian language teacher who tought the students of VIII A1 SMP Negeri 3 Sawan. The object is implementation of the demonstration method of the Indonesia language teacher in the procedure text learning. The data collection method that used was observation method, documention method, testing, and questionnaires. Data is were analyzed with descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed (1) the steps of demonstration method implementation of Indonesia language teacher in the procedure text learning consists of three stages, it is planning, implementation, and assessment. In each stage, the teacher has filled the practice standards of learning that determined. The success can be noticed from the fulfillment of the overall syntax or standard procedure preparation of learning step with demonstration method. (2) students learning outcomes to the demonstration method implementation of Indonesian language teacher in the procedure text learning classified as complete. The success can be seen from the number of students who mostly got score above KKM. (3) student’s response to the implementation of demonstration method of teacher in the procedure text learning most of them convied that they were pleased.
