IMPLEMENTASI METODE PEMBELAJARAN TIPE KOOPERATIF TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION DENGAN MEDIA GAMBAR BIOTA LAUT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL KETUNTASAN BELAJAR MENULIS TEKS DESKRIPSI DI KELAS VIIA SMPN 1 TEGALLALANG

Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) langkah-langkah implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualizationuntuk meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang, (2) peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang berdasarkan implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualzation dan (3) respon siswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization untuk meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar menulis teks deskripsi siswa di kelas VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Tegallalang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan metode tes. Hasil penelitian secara umum membuktikan bahwa secara klasikal penerapan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) sudah dapat dikatakan berhasil. Ini disebabkan oleh skor rata-rata kelas yang dicapai dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi dengan media gambar biota laut pada siklus II adalah 85,8 karena sudah sesuai dengan rancangan awal dalam penelitian ini, yakni tindakan dinyatakan berhasil, jika 75% siswa mendapat skor minimal 78. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk dapat menambah khasanah ilmu pengetahuan, terkait dengan penggunaan metode atau teknik serta media dalam pembelajaran menulis teks deskriptif pada kurikulum 2013.Kata Kunci : kooperatif , metode pembelajaran TAI, teks deskripsi
This descriptive study almed at knowing (1) step of the implementation of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization to improve the result of study in writing descriptive text of students class VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang, (2) improving result of study in writing descriptive text of studenst class VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang based on the implementation of cooperative learning method type Team Assisted Individualization in improving students’ score in writing descriptive text. Subject of this study were the teacher of Bahasa Indonesia and the students of class VII A SMPN 1 Tegallalang. The data collection methot implemented were observation, questionnaire, interview, and test. The results of this study show that the implementation of TAI method improve students’ score in writing descriptive text. The average score achieved in cycle II is 85,5. This score is categorized high.
