Analisis Pola Pengembangan Paragraf Pada Karangan Siswa Kelas Xi Bahasa 1 di SMA N 1 Seririt

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola pengembangan paragraf dalam karangan siswa kelas XI Bahasa I di SMA 1 Seririt.Subjek penelitian ini adalah karangan siswa kelas XI Bahasa 1 SMA N 1 Seririt.Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh melalui keempat metode tersebut diolah melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu (1) identifikasi data, (2), klasifikasi data, (3), penyajian data, dan (4), penarikan kesimpulan.. Hasil penelitian secara umum membuktikan bahwa pola pengembangan paragraf dalam karangan siswa kelas XI Bahasa 1 di SMA N 1 Seririt sudah cukup baik.Dalam penelitian ini, data yang diperoleh adalah 29 buah karangan siswa kelas XI Bahasa 1 di SMA N 1 Seririt, dengan jumlah paragraf sebanyak 78.Dari 78 paragraf karangan siswa, jumlah paragraf yang mengandung pola pengembangan paragraf adalah 53 paragraf.Sementara itu, paragraf yang tidak menggunakan pola pengembangan paragraf berjumlah 25 paragraf.

This descriptive research aimed to describe the patterns of paragraph development used by students in writing essays. The subject of this research was the essays written by students of Grade XI Bahasa in SMA N 1 Seririt. The data was collected by using documentation method and it was processed by following four certain steps. Those are (1) data identification, (2) data classification, (3) data presentation, and (4) conclusion. The result of this study generally showed that the essays written by students of Grade XI Bahasa in SMA N 1 Seriritwere already developed by using good paragraph development patterns. The data proved that from twenty nine essays written by students of Grade XI Bahasa in SMA N 1 Seririt which consisted of seventy eight paragraphs, there were fifty three paragraphs were written by using certain patterns of paragraph development. Meanwhile, there were twenty five paragraphs were written without following the patterns of paragraph development.
