PENGARUH KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR FORMAL DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP IPA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan berpikir formal terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kota Singaraja, 2) menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman konsep IPA terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kota Singaraja, dan 3) menganalisis kemampuan berpikir formal dan pemahaman konsep IPA terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kota Singaraja. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri 2252 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri se-Kota Singaraja dengan sampel berjumlah 301 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif, teknik regresi linier sederhana, dan regresi ganda dua prediktor. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: : 1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan kemampuan berpikir formal terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 39,635 + 0,238X1 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 7,90%; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pemahaman kosep IPA terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 30,743 + 0,392X2 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 12,70%; dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan kemampuan berpikir formal dan pemahaman konsep IPA secara bersama-sama terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 23,775 + 0,132X1 + 0,366X2 dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 20,60%.

The purpose of this research were: 1) to analyze the influence of formal thinking intelligence towards creative thinking of grade VIII students of Junior High School in Singaraja City, 2) to analyze the influence of IPA’s conceptual understanding towards creative thinking of grade VIII students of Junior High School in Singaraja City, and 3) to analyze the influence of formal thinking intelligence and conceptual IPA understanding towards creative thinking of grade VIII students of Junior High School in Singaraja City. This study were ex-post facto research. Population of the study were 2252 of VIII grade Junior High School students in Singaraja City with the sample at student were 301. That data mere analyzed by using descriptive statistics, simple linear regression techniques, and two predictor of multiple regression. The result of this study indicated that: 1) there was a positive and significant influence of formal thinking towards creative thinking with regression equation of Ŷ = 39,635 + 0,238X1 with 7,90% an effective contribution, 2) there was a positive and significant influence of IPA’s conceptual understanding towards creative thinking with regression equation Ŷ = 30,743 + 0,392X2 with 12,70 % an effective contribution, and 3) there was a positive and significant influence of formal thinking and IPA’s conceptual understanding towards creative thinking with regression equation Ŷ = 23,775 + 0,132X1 + 0,366X2 with 20,60% an effective contribution.
