STUDI KOMPARATIF ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOLABORATIF DAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FISIKA SISWA KELAS X MIPA SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perbedaan pemahaman konsep fisika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Kolaboratif, model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI), dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan direct instruction. Penelitian ini tergolong eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1, X MIPA 3, dan X MIPA 4. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes pemahaman konsep fisika dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis varian satu jalur. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dan uji Least Significant Difference (LSD) dilakukan untuk analisis lebih lanjut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pemahaman konsep fisika antara kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran kolaboratif, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI), dan kelompok siswa yang belajar dengan direct instruction (F = 21,419; p < 0,05). Uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa hasil model pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam pemahaman konsep fisika siswa lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan model group investigation dan direct instruction.Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran kolaboratif, model group investigation, model direct instruction, pemahaman konsep
This study aimed at describing the difference of physical comprehension among the students who were taught by using collaborative learning model, the students who were taught by using group investigation cooperative learning model (GI), and the students who were taught by using direct instruction model. This study was a quasi experimental research with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Semarapura in academic year 2013/2014. Students at grades X MIPA 1, X MIPA 3, and X MIPA 4 were selected as the samples of this study, they were selected by random sampling. Data were obtained by using test and were analysed by using descriptive statistics and one way variant analysis. The hypothesis testing was conducted in signifficant level α = 0.05, and Least Significant Difference (LSD) test was used for further analysis. The result shows that there is a significant difference in student’s physic comrpehension among the students who learn by using collaborative learning model, students who learn by using group investigation cooperative learning model (GI), and the students who learn by using direct instruction model (F = 21.419; p < 0.05). LSD test shows that the result of collaborative learning model in student’s physic comprehension is higher than group investigation cooperative learning model (GI) and direct instruction model.
