PENGARUH TINGKAT KECEMASAN DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR FISIKA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menganalisis pengaruh tingkat kecemasan terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar, (2) Menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar, dan (3) Menganalisis pengaruh tingkat kecemasan dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kausal komparatif. Penelitian kausal komparatif bersifat ex post facto. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar. Sampel diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 7 Sekolah dengan jumlah 377 responden. Data kecemasan dan motivasi belajar diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data prestasi belajar siswa diperoleh dengan tes objektif. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistika deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda dua prediktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan tingkat kecemasan terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar dengan sumbangan efektif 0,47%. (2) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar dengan sumbangan efektif 12,73%. (3) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan tingkat kecemasan dan motivasi belajar terhadap prestasii belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar dengan sumbangan efektif 13,2%.

This study aimed at (1) analyzing the influence of anxiety towards the physics learning achievement on the first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar, (2) analyzing the influence of learning motivation towards physics learning achievement on first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar, and (3) analyzing the influence of anxiety level together with learning motivation towards physics learning achievement on the first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar. This type of research was causal comparative research. Causal comparative research is an ex post facto. The population of this study was all students on first grade of all SMANs in Denpasar. Samples were taken by proportional random sampling technique. Sample of this study consisted of 7 schools with 377 respondents. Anxiety and motivation were collected by using a questionnaire. Student achievement was obtained by using objective test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression two predictors. The results of study show that: (1) There is a significant influence of anxiety level towards physiscs learning achievement on the first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar with the amount of effective contribution is 0.47%, (2) There is a significant effect of learning motivation towards physics learning achievement on the first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar with the amount of effective contribution is 12.73%. (3) There is a significant influence of anxiety levels and learning motivation toward physics learning achievement on the first grade students of all SMANs in Denpasar with the amount of effective contribution is 13.2%.
