EVALUASI TINDAK GURU FISIKA DALAM PENGIMPLEMENTASIAN PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFIC PADA KELAS XI PROGRAM MIPA DI SMA NEGERI 3 SINGARAJA

Abstract

Evaluasi tindak guru dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran oleh guru fisika dalam menerapkan pendekatan scientific pada Kelas XI Program MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penelitian evaluasi tindak guru adalah jenis penelitian evaluatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 orang guru fisika beserta seluruh siswanya pada Kelas XI Program MIPA di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian evaluasi tindak guru fisika dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific berdasarkan atas 6 Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Jenis evaluasi yang dilakukan merupakan evaluasi formatif dan sumatif dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Evaluasi context mengacu pada standar isi dan standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Evaluasi input mengacu pada standar proses ditinjau dari perencanaan pembelajaran dan standar sarana dan prasarana. Evaluasi process mengacu pada standar proses ditinjau dari pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi product mengacu pada standar kompetensi lulusan dan standar penilaian pendidikan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan dokumentasi dengan instrumen APKG I, APKG II, IPKG, angket tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap pembelajaran fisika, serta menggunakan metode wawancara dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan penskoran dan pemaparan secara naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru fisika dalam pengimplementasian pendekatan scientific di SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja pada evaluasi context, input, process, dan product sudah sesuai dengan 6 Standar Nasional Pendidikan, namun masih perlu dimaksimalkan. Berdasarkan standar proses, kinerja guru cenderung (sangat baik) dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, dan cenderung (baik) dalam pelaksanaan maupun evaluasi pembelajaran.

Teacher action evaluation was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of learning and constraints faced by teachers in implementing the scientific approach. This study aimed at measuring the success of learning activities by physics teachers in implementing the scientific approaches at Class XI Mathematics and Science Program of SMAN 3 Singaraja. The study of teacher action evaluation was a type of evaluative research. The subjects of the study were 2 physics teachers and all students in Class XI Mathematics and Science Program of SMAN 3 Singaraja. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research subject. Physics teacher evaluation research in implementing the scientific approach was based on six National Education Standards. Type of evaluation was a formative and summative evaluation using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model. Context evaluation referred to the content standard and standard of teachers and education personnel. Input evaluation referred to the standard of the planning process in terms of learning and standards of facilities and infrastructure. Evaluation process referred to the standard process in terms of implementation and evaluation of learning. Evaluation product referred to the competency standard and assessment standard of education. Data of this study were collected by using the method of observation and documentation of the instruments APKG I, APKG II, IPKG, and questionnaire responses of teachers and students towards physics learning, as well as using interviews with instruments in form of interview guides. Data were analysed by scoring and explaining narratively. The results shows that the physics teacher performance in implementing the scientific approach in SMAN 3 Singaraja on the evaluation context, input, process, and the product is in conformity with the National Education Standard 6, but still need to be maximized. Based on the standard process, the performance of teachers tend to be very good in learning plan, and tend to be good in the implementation and evaluation of learning.
