PENGARUH METODE PROBLEM POSING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PROBLEM SOLVING PADA PEMBELARAN MATEMATIKA BAGI SISWA KELAS V

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode problem posing terhadap kemampuan problem solving pada pembelajaran matematika bagi siswa kelas V SDN Gugus VI Kecamatan Sawan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Sawan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 158 orang. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas V SDN 8 Sangsit yang berjumlah 38 orang dan siswa kelas V SDN 4 Sangsit yang berjumlah 25 orang. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes isian. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan perbedaan kemampuan problem solving matematika yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode problem posing dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan bukan menggunakan metode problem posing pada siswa kelas V SDN Gugus VI Kecamatan Sawan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan rata-rata skor kemampuan problem solving matematika kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode problem posing adalah 70,15 lebih besar dari rata-rata skor kemampuan problem solving matematika kelompok siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan bukan menggunakan metode problem posing sebesar 55,92. Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan metode problem posing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan problem solving matematika siswa dibandingkan dengan bukan menggunakan metode problem posing.

This study was aimed to determine the effect of problem posing method on Mathematics problem solving skill for fifth grade students of SDN VI in district of Sawan in the academyc year of 2015/2016. This research is quasi-experimental research. The population of this study was the whole class of fifth grade that is 158 students total in the district of Sawan in the academic year of 2015/2016. The samples of this research are 38 students of fifth grade on SDN 8 Sangsit and 25 fifth grade students of SDN 4 Sangsit. Learning outcomes data of this study was collected using field test. The data study was analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis statistic techniques and inferential statistics ie t-tesT. The result of this study was indicated that there are differences in mathematical problem solving skill between students who take the problem posing teaching methods and students who following the study by not using problem posing methods in fifth grade of SDN VI district of Sawan in the academyc year of 2015/2016. The result comparison of the average score of the mathematics problem solving skill of the group of students who take the problem posing learning methods was 70,15 higher than the average score of mathematical problem solving skill group of students who take the learning by not using the methods of problem posing at 50,92. Any significant differences indicate that the problem posing learning methods affect the students mathematical problem solving skill compared to not using the problem posing learning method.
