Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Pendekatan Saintifik Berorientasi Kearifan Lokal Berbantuan Media Manipulatif Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika Siswa SD di Kota Singaraja

Abstract

Penelitian quasi experiment ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi kearifan lokal berbantuan media manipulatif lebih tinggi daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah post test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SD di kota Singaraja yang menerapkan kurikulum 2013 di kelas V semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Kaliuntu sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SD Banyuasri sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes prestasi belajar berbentuk uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji- satu arah dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berorientasi kearifan lokal berbantuan media manipulatif lebih tinggi daripada prestasi belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, pendekatan saintifik berorientasi kearifan lokal berbantuan media manipulatif berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.

This quasi experimental research is aimed at finding out whether mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by using scientific approachment with manipulated media aided local wisdom orientation, higher than mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by using conventional learning method. The research design used in this study was post test only control group Design. The population in this research was students of elementary school in the Singaraja City which is applying 2013 curriculum in the odd semester of the fifth grade in the academic year of 2014/2015. The sample was selected by using random samply technique. The sample in this research are fifth grade students of SD Kaliuntu as experimental group and the fifth grade students of SD Banyuasri as control group.The data were collected by using essay achievement test. The data were analyzed using a one-tailed –test with 5% level of significance. The result of data analysis showed that the mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by using scientific approachment with manipulated media aided local wisdom orientation was higher than those who were taught by using conventional learning method. Thus, scientific approachment with manipulated media aided local wisdom orientation positive influence toward the student’s mathematics learning achievement.
