PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN KOLABORATIF BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP LITERASI MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 SINGARAJA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah literasi matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis masalah lebih tinggi daripada literasi matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan disain penelitian Post Test Only Control Group Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja yang terdistribusi ke dalam 10 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster sampling yang mana terpilih masing-masing dua kelas pada kelas unggulan dan kelas non unggulan. Data literasi matematika siswa diperoleh menggunakan tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik uji-t satu ekor pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung = 2,808 lebih dari nilai ttabel = 1,664 untuk sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan kata lain, literasi matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja yang mengikuti pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari pada literasi matematika siswa kelas SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.

The puspose of this research was to find out whether the mathematic literacy of students who studied with collaborative problem based learning is higher than mathematics literacy of students who studied with convensional learning. This reaserch was a quasi experiment with Post Test Only Control Group Design using Matched Sunject. The population of this research were the students of grade 7 of SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja in academic year 2015/2016 that divided into ten classes. Two classes of each superior class and non supperior class were selected as sample taken by using cluster sampling technique. The data in this research, the mathematics literacy, were gathered by multiple choice test. The data were analyzed by using one tail t-test with significance level at 5%. The data analysis result showed that the value of t test thitung = 2,808 was greater than t-table = 1,664 so that the null hypothesis is rejected. The conclusion is the mathematics literacy of SMP Negeri 1 Singaraja students who studied with collaborative problem based learning is higher than that students who studied with conventional learning.
