Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur yang melibatkan tinjauan terhadap penelitian-penelitian terkait, teori-teori yang mendukung, dan studi kasus yang mengilustrasikan konsep-konsep yang dibahas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional, dengan komponen-komponen seperti pengenalan emosi, pengelolaan emosi, empati, dan keterampilan sosial, berperan penting dalam meningkatkan interaksi sosial dan kemampuan siswa untuk mengatasi tantangan emosional selama studi. Sementara itu, kecerdasan intelektual, yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir analitis, kritis, dan memecahkan masalah, memiliki dampak positif dalam pemahaman materi pelajaran dan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik dengan efektif. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya faktor-faktor lain seperti motivasi, dukungan sosial, dan gaya belajar yang dapat memediasi atau memoderasi hubungan antara kedua jenis kecerdasan ini dengan hasil belajar. Implikasi penemuan ini dalam pengembangan kurikulum dan metode pengajaran di bidang psikologi disajikan, dengan penekanan pada pendekatan holistik untuk memaksimalkan potensi siswa dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal.</p> Tedy Sutandy Komarudin Nilna Azizatus Shofiyyah Miftahul Ulum Muhamad Ridwan Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Psychology and Instruction 2023-12-02 2023-12-02 7 3 DIGITAL LITERACY AND STUDENT ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN UNIVERSITIES: A META-ANALYSIS https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/JoPaI/article/view/68191 <p>The development of Information and Communication Technology in the world, especially the internet, demands its use in the field of Education, in this case students at the university level are required to use blended learning methods so that they must have the skills and skills to use digital technology or digital literacy skills in lectures to support good academic performance. Previous research has shown a correlation between digital literacy and academic performance, but no research has focused on how much influence the r and size of the correlation of the two special variables have on students at the university level. This meta-analysis aims to measure the relationship between digital literacy and student academic performance at the university level by considering the effect size. The total sample in this study was 4105 students from 15 studies that were considered eligible. The results of the meta-analysis show that digital literacy has a positive and significant correlation to student academic performance at the moderate level with a 95% CI (0.184; 0.444). The heterogeneity test showed good results and there was no publication bias.</p> Ocvita Ardhiani M. Emerging adulthood is a transitional phase where individual self-identity is being questioned. Many users at that age cannot make their online self-presentation as they should. This research aimed to find out how self-esteem, narcissistic personality, and online privacy can influence the online self-presentation of individuals in emerging adulthood. Participants in this research were 281 active Instagram users and were in the emerging adulthood age range, namely 18-25 years. The data analysis technique used hierarchical regression. The results show that self-esteem and narcissistic personality simultaneously influence online self-presentation, and a stronger influence is found when online privacy is included in the analysis. Narcissistic personality is the variable that most strongly influences online self-presentation of individuals in emerging adulthood. Female participants have a higher level of narcissistic personality than male participants.</p> Paujiatul Arifah Hera Lestari Mikarsa Wahyu Rahardjo Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Psychology and Instruction 2023-12-02 2023-12-02 7 3 SELF-FORGIVENESS DAN KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS PADA NARAPIDANA LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KELAS 2A AMBARAWA https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/JoPaI/article/view/68819 <p><em>While serving his sentence, the convict will be placed in a Correctional Institution (LP). In Indonesia, these places experience overcapacity which can result in overcrowding of prisoners. These limitations on space and movement are also experienced by inmates at class 2A Ambarawa prison which results in inmates experiencing psychological problems such as low self-acceptance, feelings of guilt, and difficulty forgiving themselves. This can prevent the achievement of psychological well-being in prisoners while serving their sentence in Class 2A Ambarawa Penitentiary. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between self-forgiveness and the psychological well-being of class 2A Ambarawa prison inmates. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. A total of 178 participants were involved using the sample random sampling technique. The research measurement used the self-forgiveness scale (a=0.894) and psychological well-being, it was measured using the Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale (a=0.843). The results of the study proved that there was a significant positive relationship between self-forgiveness and psychological well-being in Class 2A Ambarawa Penitentiary inmates (r = 0.618 and a significant 0.000). This indicates that self-forgiveness is one of the factors related to the psychological well-being of class 2A Ambarawa Penitentiary inmates. This indicates that self-forgiveness is one of the factors related to improving the psychological well-being of inmates at Class 2A Penitentiary in Ambarawa. This research implies that it is hoped that convicts who are serving a period of detention will be able to increase their self-forgiveness so that they can overcome and survive feelings of guilt, and anxiety while still being able to achieve psychological well-being in their lives.</em></p> Daniel Panggabean Arthur Huwae Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Psychology and Instruction 2023-12-02 2023-12-02 7 3 DIMENSI BIG FIVE PERSONALITY DAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING MAHASISWA RANTAU ASAL DAERAH 3T https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/JoPaI/article/view/69097 <p><em>Indonesia has 62 territory of the frontier, Outermost, and lagging (3T) where the area is located far from urban areas and scattered throughout the territory of Indonesia. It makes students have to go, where regional students described as someone who continue their education in other areas, which is caused by uneven system of higher education. As a student overseas, certainly many of the challenges faced by the start of differences in language and culture, so the importance of forming a good personality in achieving psychological well-being. Therefore, this study aims to determine the contribution of dimensions of big five personality on psychological well-being of regional students derived from 3T. The method used is quantitative with the design of the simple regression. Participants in this study were 53 regional students derived from the 3T in Satya Wacana Christian University with a snowball sampling technique. The measurement of research using the scale of big five personality and the scale of psychological well-being. Based on the results of the t test obtained the dimensions of extraversion, openness to experience and conscientiousness of the variables of the big five personality has an influence on psychological well-being, with a significance less than 0.05.
