UNESCO is taking part in efforts to increase awareness regarding climate change, one of which is by creating the Greening Education Partnership program. Climate Change Education (CCE) is an effort in the education sector to increase students' awareness of climate change. This article attempts to analyze publication trends regarding CCE and explore other opportunities for further research on the topic of CCE. The method used is the systematic literature review (SLR) method and data analysis using bibliometrics. The data used in this research are documents published by journals on the Scopus database published in 2013-2022. In 2013-2022, 462 documents can be searched in the Scopus database with the keyword ‘climate change education’. The analysis results show that discussions about CCE related to curriculum, learning, and students have been widely studied and published. However, there is no visible academic interaction between the authors. These conditions can be the basis that CCE needs to be implemented thoughtfully to increase awareness of environmental change. Apart from that, its implementation also requires collaborative roles from each sector so that CCE implementation can be carried out optimally. There needs to be a policy to encourage implementation by integrating CCE and the curriculum. Schools and universities encourage teachers and lecturers to deliver CCE in learning by including specific topics that can be related.
Angga Hadiapurwa Mohammad Ali Eero Ropo Asep Herry Hernawan Copyright (c) 2023 Angga Hadiapurwa, Mohammad Ali, Eero Ropo, Asep Herry Hernawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-24 2024-05-24 29 1 32 45 10.23887/mi.v29i1.70400 Proposed Human Resource Competency for Society 5.0 https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/MI/article/view/71535
Society 5.0 can also be interpreted as a concept of a human-centered and technology-based society. So far, research has yet to discuss the preparation of HOTS-based science learning outcomes assessment instruments. Therefore, this research aims to develop a HOTS-oriented assessment instrument for science content. This research is development research with a 4-D model. The subjects of this research were 69 students and involved two expert lecturers/science experts. Data collection in this study used the multiple-choice test method. The data analysis techniques in this research are validity, reliability, distinguishability, level of difficulty, and quality of distractors. The results of the research show that the assessment instrument developed is declared valid, has high reliability (reliable), and the level of difficulty is in the very good category; in terms of different power, it is stated that the instrument has good different power, and the quality of the distractor functions well. The test results show that the HOTS-oriented science learning outcomes assessment instrument is suitable for measuring student learning outcomes. This research implies that continuously using the HOTS standard assessment instrument will improve students' thinking.
Rara Indah Arthadewi I Gede Wira Bayu Ni Wayan Rati Copyright (c) 2024 Rara Indah Arthadewi, I Gede Wira Bayu, Ni Wayan Rati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-24 2024-05-24 29 1 156 162 10.23887/mi.v29i1.36521 Self-directed Learning: Strategy to Increase Digital Literacy in Suburban Society https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/MI/article/view/64372
The impact of digital technology in urban areas has a big influence on suburban communities, from mindset to use of technology. The development of digital technology has caused new upheavals in suburban society; the VUCA era has become a new chapter. Therefore, it is necessary to be equipped with digital literacy. This research aims to describe and analyze research findings regarding the impact of self-directed learning on digital literacy in suburban society. This research uses a qualitative approach with a grounded theory method. Research was conducted on suburban societies, youth organizations, community facilitators, and stakeholders through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and document studies. Data analysis uses open, axial, and selective coding data analysis. The research results show that the process of self-directed digital literacy learning in suburban communities is manifested in the community's proactive attitude with the presence of digital technology and social media. The construction of knowledge and learning experiences in building digital literacy in suburban communities is realized in the community's appreciation for the presence of digital technology, which is interpreted as providing convenience, new insights, and benefits. Apart from that, it is an informal learning medium, a mass communication tool, a discussion forum, a medium for social interaction in cyberspace, and an exploration of skills and knowledge in social media. This research concludes that self-directed learning is a strategy for suburban society to improve digital literacy skills.
Rivo Nugroho MV. A lack of innovative teaching materials mostly causes this or tends to be monotonous. Therefore, supportive teaching materials that are attractive in form and based on appropriate learning models are needed so that students are enthusiastic about learning and can think critically. One medium that is a solution is to use CTL-based E-Worksheet. This research aims to develop a CTL-based E-Worksheet for grade 4 elementary school science content. This research is a development research type with the ADDIE model. The research subject is CTL-based E-Worksheet media on class 4 science content. Data collection uses expert test instruments and trials. The data analysis technique calculates the percentage score for validation assessments and user responses. The research results show that the development of a CTL-based E-Worksheet for grade 4 science content meets very valid criteria from the quality aspect, with a detailed score of 93.775% from media experts, 95% from learning design experts, and 94.6% from learning content experts. The results of the student response test showed an increase from the pretest results, with an average score of 34.8%, to an average score of 84.8 on the students' post-test results. Based on these results, the CTL-based E-Worksheet teaching materials that have been developed are suitable for application in learning. This research implies that it presents CTL-based E-Worksheet learning media with grade 4 science content as a solution to problems in the student learning process.
Sephia Widyaningrum Desak Putu Parmiti Copyright (c) 2023 Sephia Widyaningrum, Desak Putu Parmiti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-24 2024-05-24 29 1 173 184 10.23887/mi.v29i1.64644 The Impact of Students' Learning Interests and Parenting Patterns on Economic Learning Outcomes https://ejournal.undiksha.ac.id/index.php/MI/article/view/58463
The lack of parental attention to children's character education makes parents' parenting patterns less than optimal, so children's interest in learning decreases, which causes student learning outcomes not to meet the KKM at school. Therefore, this research aims to partially and simultaneously examine the influence of learning interests and parenting patterns on the economic learning outcomes of class XI students. This type of research is causal research. The population in this research was 107 students, and the sample used was 84 students. Data collection methods using questionnaires and documents were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing using the t-test and F-test was processed using the SPSS 20.0 for the Windows program. This research shows that interest in learning and parenting patterns partially and simultaneously influence students' social studies learning outcomes, which are expressed at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Based on this, it is concluded that formal education must also be balanced with informal education provided by parents through good parenting. This will increase students' interest in learning so that student learning outcomes will improve. This research provides theoretical implications that the solution to increasing student interest in learning and learning outcomes can be done by applying informal education to balance formal education.
I Nyoman Sujana I Putu Arya Dharmayasa Ni Wayan Desi Ardiani Copyright (c) 2023 I Nyoman Sujana, I Putu Arya Dharmayasa, Ni Wayan Desi Ardiani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-05-24 2024-05-24 29 1 185 192 10.23887/mi.v29i1.58463
