PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR, INTEGRITAS MAHASISWA DAN PENYALAHGUNAAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI TERHADAP PERILAKU KECURANGAN AKADEMIK (STUDI KASUS PADA MAHASISWA JURUSAN AKUNTANSI PROGRAM S1 UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN GANESHA)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik, pengaruh integritas mahasiswa terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik, dan pengaruh penyalahgunaan teknologi informasi terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha). Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Program S1 Undiksha. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Berdasarkan metode ini maka diperoleh sampel sejumlah 90 orang. Kuesioner yang didistribusikan sejumlah 90 dan yang kembali sejumlah 89. Sedangkan 1 kuesioner tidak diisi dengan lengkap. Adapun uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, dan pengujian hipotesis. Uji kualitas data terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Kemudian, uji asumsi klasik terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Pengujian hipotesis terdiri dari uji t dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa motivasi belajar dan integritas mahasiswa berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik. Sedangkan penyalahgunaan teknologi informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku kecurangan akademik pada mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Program S1 Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha.

This study aimed at obtaining empirical evidence on the impact of learning motivation on academic fraud behavior, the impact of student’s integrity on academic fraud behavior and the impact of information technology misuse on academic fraud behavior. This study was conducted at Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). The population in this study were the students of Accounting Department, Undergraduated Program of Ganesha University of Education. The samples of the study were 90 students, selected by applying purposive sampling technique. There were 90 questionnaires distributed to the respondents yet merely 89 returned. One questionnaire was not completely filled. The statistical test conducted in this study were data quality test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. The data quality test covered validity and reliability test. The classical assumption test consisted of normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The hypothesis test consisted of t test and coefficient of determination. The results of the analysis showed that learning motivation and student’s integrity had negative and significant impact on academic fraud behavior. While information technology misuse had positive and significant impact on academic fraud behavior.
