PENGARUH KECANGGIHAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI, KEMAMPUAN TEKNIK PEMAKAI, DAN DUKUNGAN MANAJEMEN PUNCAK TERHADAP KINERJA SISTEM INFORMASI AKUNTANSI Studi Empiris pada PT PLN (Persero) Area Bali Utara (Kantor Pusat)

Abstract

Teknologi informasi merupakan suatu kebutuhan bagi organisasi yang dapat membantu kinerja organisasi dan individu. Pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan dalam penggunaan informasi keuangan meliputi pihak internal dan eksternal. Sistem informasi akuntansi memberi kesempatan bagi pebisnis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam pengambilan keputusan sehingga memungkinkan perusahaan memperoleh keunggulan kompetitif. Sistem Informasi Akuntansi dianggap sebagai faktor penting dalam pencapaian kinerja yang lebih besar terutama dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecanggihan teknologi informasi, kemampuan teknik pemakai, dan dukungan manajemen puncak terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bali Utara (Kantor Pusat) di bidang akuntansi, keuangan, anggaran, penglolaan pendapatan, perencanaan sistem, dan manajemen puncak. Sedangkan objek penelitiannya yaitu kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) Area Bali Utara (Kantor Pusat) dan sampel dalam penelitian adalah ini berjumlah 35 orang . Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel kecanggihan teknologi informasi, kemampuan teknik pemakai, dan dukungan manajemen puncak secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi.

Information technology becomes a primary and essential need for the institution supporting either the organization as well as individual performances. The parties interested in using the financial information involved those come from either the internal and external aspects. Acccounting information system provides wide opportunities for any businessmen to accelerate efficiency and effectiveness in making decision that they could obtain higher competitive excellence. Accounting information system is considered to play greater role in obtaining better performance interms of the decision making process. The aim of this study was to find out the effect of sophisticated information technology, user’s technical capability, and the top management support on the accounting information system performances. The subjects of the study involved all the office staffs of PT. PLN (Persero) around north Bali area (central office) in the field of accounting, financial, budgeting, income management, system planning, and top management. While the research object is the performance of accounting information systems. The population in this study were all employees of PT. PLN (Persero) North Bali Area (Head Office) and the sample is numbered 35 people. Hypothesis testing is done using multiple linear regression. The results indicated that the variable of sophisticated information technology, technical capability of the users, and the endorsement of the top management could contribute positive and significant affect either partially or simultaneously on the performance of accouting information system.
