Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, kepemilikan manajerial dan opini akuntan publik terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan pada perusahaan properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di BEI selama periode 2010-2014. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah perusahaan yang dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian adalah 22 perusahaan dengan pengamatan selama lima tahun, sehingga sampel yang terpilih sebanyak 110 observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang berupa laporan keuangan auditan, annual report yang diperoleh dari situs homepage Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yaitu www.idx.co.id. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi logistik. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 21. Hasil empiris penelitian ini menunjukan secara parsial bahwa variabel profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan dan opini akuntan publik terbukti berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan, variabel leverage terbukti berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan, serta variabel kepemilikan manajerial terbukti tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara simultan pada variabel profitabilitas, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, kepemilikan manajerial dan opini akuntan publik terhadap ketepatan waktu pelaporan keuangan pada perusahaan properti dan real estate yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2010-2014.

Abstract This present study is intended to analyze the impact of profitability, leverage, company’s size, managerial ownership and the public accountant’s opinion on the timeliness of the financial reporting of the property and real estate companies registered at the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2014. The samples of the study were determined using the purposive sampling technique, and totaled 22 companies which were observed for five years, meaning that the samples were selected from 110 points of observation. The secondary data were used in the present study; they are in the forms of the auditing financial reporting, the annual report obtained from the homepage site of the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange, that is, www.idx.co.id. The hypothesis was examined using the logistic regression. The data were analyzed using the SPSS software version 21. The empirical result of the study shows that partially the variables of profitability, the company’s size, and the public accountant’s opinion proved to positively significantly affect the timeliness of the financial reporting, that the variable of leverage proved negatively significantly to contribute to the timeliness of the financial reporting, and that the variable of the managerial ownership proved not to significantly affect the timeliness of the financial reporting. The result of the study also shows that the variables of profitability, leverage, company’s size, managerial ownership and the public accountant’s opinion simultaneously affected the timeliness of the financial reporting of the property and real estate companies registered at the Indonesia’s Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2014.
