Based on PISA in 2019, Indonesia has low performance quadrant with high equity, means that opportunity to improve critical thinking skills because it has underdeveloped capacity and potential to face the 21st century. Based on the results of survey with teachers and students, researchers found that the unavailability of worksheets base learning styles caused decreasing the student learning interest. This study aims to produce worksheets oriented to higher order thinking skills based on their learning styles. This type of research is development research using the 4D model. The research subjects were 32 even semester VIII grade students and 1 Science teacher at Manbaul Ulum. This research is limited to the analysis stage of school needs towards the development of worksheets oriented to higher order thinking skills based on learning styles using survey techniques. Making lesson plans before the teaching process is very important because it serves as a teacher's guide in carrying out learning in the classroom. There are still teacher problems in preparing lesson plans. The study aims to develop a HOTS-oriented thematic learning implementation plan (RPP) is to increase the main values of strengthening character education (PPK) for class IV students. This study used an experimental group of 10 students related to the implementation of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans in increasing student independence. Interviews, observations, and written documentation are the three primary methods of data gathering used in this investigation. Both qualitative and quantitative methods of data analysis are used in this process. The results of this study explain that the application of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans is proven to be able to significantly increase student independence. The advice that can be conveyed from the results of this study is the need for teacher support in planning, implementing, and evaluating the application of HOTS-oriented thematic lesson plans. Critical thinking is a potential that students must train early and must continue to be developed. Therefore, the process of implementing learning in the classroom must be able to train and improve students' critical thinking skills with real problems in science material. This study aims to analyze the effect of Problem Based Learning Model on critical thinking skills in science lessons of grade V elementary school students. This type of research is a pseudo-research with a research design of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was grade V elementary school students totaling 61 students. The data collection method used was the test method and the instrument used was an essay test question equipped with an assessment rubric. The analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics t-test. The results of data analysis obtained the average critical thinking ability of the experimental group 75.8 and the control group 65.5. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, obtained tcount = 5.65 &gt; ttable = 2.001 at a significance level of 5% with df = 59, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is hoped that STEAM-based student worksheets can be an alternative to improving students' scientific literacy skills. This research aims to analyze student worksheets that are valid, practical, and effective for enhancing students' scientific literacy skills. Research and development (R&amp;D) research on the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research subjects were determined by simple random sampling of 62 fifth-grade elementary school students and 2 class teachers. Data was collected using valid and reliable interviews, questionnaires, and tested methods. Product validation test results show that Aiken's overall validity index is 0.802, which belongs to the very effective category. Valid STEAM-based student worksheets that integrate various scientific disciplines, namely science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, contextually in one complete learning approach. Practicality is measured through STEAM-based learning, with an average implementation value of 4.91 teacher responses and 4.88 student responses in the practical category, implying that all learning activities can be completed effectively within the allotted time. The paired t-test for scientific literacy achievement produced a significance value of 0.020 &lt; 0.05 with Sig. t-tail, meaning H<sub>o</sub> is rejected. So teaching at the right level means teaching given to students according to their level of ability. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Teaching at the Right Level approach on critical reasoning abilities in mathematics lessons for fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research uses quasi-experimental research. This research design is a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was 180 students. The sample in this research consisted of 71 students. The sample selection in this study used a cluster random sampling technique. Data on students' critical reasoning abilities in mathematics lessons was collected using an essay test method which was then analyzed using the t-test. The results of data analysis obtained tcount= 9.87, while at a significance level of 5% and dk 69 it was obtained ttable= 1.995 so that tcount= 9.87 was greater than ttable= 1.995, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there were differences in the groups of students being studied. This study aims to determine the acquisition of Indonesian phonology in Down syndrome children in SLB E Negeri Pembina Medan. This study was conducted on 5 Down syndrome, age range of 6-9 years. This study also aims to describe cognitive development of them too. Blumstein's theory of speech changes is used to determine the change of speech sounds. Jacobson's theory is used to determine the acquisition of phonology Indonesian and Jean Piaget's theory is used to describe the language development of them. The method used is proficient and record. It was found that the five respondents in pronouncing several words there was a change in the sound of speech, namely sound Deletion (Omision), sound addition (Addition), and sound replacement (Substitution). They have also acquired some of the Indonesian vowel sounds [i], [ u], [e], [o] and [a]. They can produce several vowels sounds either at the beginning, middle or end words. There are some consonants that have been acquired Indonesian and there are some consonant sounds that have not been obtained, [w], [f]. [z], and [h]. The phonological development is the stage of holoprastic. The data collection stages in this research were carried out in search for and identify relevant data sources, carry out literature selection, and extract relevant data. This research uses thematic analysis methods to identify patterns, trends and main findings in the literature reviewed. This study found the principles behind the Feynman Techniques and highlights their practical application in educational settings. This research aims to create a SETS-based module to improve students' critical thinking. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&amp;D) research, the development was carried out referring to Borg &amp; Gall's theory. The population of this study was fourth grade elementary school students. The subjects in this research were determined using a purposive sampling technique and obtained 24 students. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research results show that the module is in the very valid and practical category. Material experts received a score of 0.92, media experts 0.87, language experts 0.93 and pedagogy experts 0.93, overall, in the valid category. The results of the user response assessment from students were 96.4 and teacher practicality was 93.61, including the very practical category). Data uses N-Gain with a calculation result of 0.52. This study aims to analyze the effect of assessment using jigsaw cooperative learning method and logical thinking ability on Biology achievement after controlling students’ prior knowledge. This study was conducted with design treatment by level 2 x 2. Through random sampling, it was decided 84 students as sample. All of requisite testing from two-way Ancova was fulfilled. The result of data analyzed with two-way Ancova, after controlling students’ prior knowledge showed that the students achievement in biology who took performance assessment was better than the students who took written assessments in cooperative learning method using jigsaw type; there was an interaction effect between assessment in cooperative learning method of jigsaw type and logical thinking ability toward the students achievement in biology; for those students who had high logical thinking ability were more compatible to take part in performance assessment in cooperative learning method using jigsaw type; and for the group of students who had lower logical thinking ability were more compatible to take written assessment in cooperative learning method of jigsaw type. However, the implementation of science learning in elementary schools is still not optimal, indicated by the learning activites that is less student-oriented and has not stimulated students to think at a high level (HOTS). This study aims to develop HOTS-based LKPD. This type of research is development research using ADDIE modeling with five stages as follows analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subject of this research is HOTS-based LKPD products, the object of this research is the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of HOTS-based LKPD products. The test subjects involved 25 fifth grade students with problem solving skills who were used as test objects. The data collection method used a questionnaire. This study encompasses both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results stated that the HOTS-based LKPD that had been developed received a material expert validity score of 92.38% and a learning media expert validity score of 94.50%. The teacher response practicality score was 97.49%, the individual test student response score was 96.36%, the small group test student response score was 95.75% so that it was declared valid and practical with E quality. The effectiveness test using the t-test method obtained a Sig value of 0.000 &lt; 0.05.
