Dengan semakin besarnya laju perkembangan penduduk dan industrialisasi di wilayah kelurahan Danuksuman kota Surakarta menjadikan penurunan kwalitas lingkungan. Limbah hasil buangan dari aktivitas penduduk jika tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan yang berdampak balik pada kesehatan lingkungan penduduk. Jurnal ini berusaha menjawab bagaimana program dari pemerintah terkait pengelolaan limbah domestik di kelurahan Danukusuman guna untuk mendukung kebijakan yang telah di buat pemerinta melalui Peraturan Daerah Nomor 10 Tahun 2015. Jurnal ini menggunakan metode pendekatan empiris atau Sosiologis. Metode pengumpulan data di peroleh langsung dari masyarakat melalui observasi, wawancara, ataupun kuesioner. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian hukum empiris atau pendekatan sosio-legal. Hambatan implementasi Perda Nomor 10 Tahun 2015 yaitu adanya kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk peduli akan lingkungan dengan membuang sampah di jaringan/saluran rumah tangga dan masuknya limbah non domestik, serta kurangnya pengawasan dari aparat penegak perdaturan daerah. Untuk itu pemerintah kota Surakarta perlu menerapkan sanksi-sanksi menggunakan Pengelolaan Lingkungan (Perda Nomor 10. Tahun 2015.) dan memberi tugas sebagaimana mestinya kepada petugas penegak peraturan daerah.
