PERANCANGAN DAN VALIDASI TES DIAGNOSTIKMODEL MENTAL KIMIA ORGANIK

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes diagnostik model mental kimia organik. Penelitian dilakukan melalui empat tahap, mengadopsi desain penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran 4-D (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Kualitas perangkat tes yang dihasilkan ditentukan berdasarkan validitas (teoritis dan empiris) serta reliabilitasnya. Validasi oleh tim pakar menunjukkan nilai CVR seluruh butir soal tersebut = 1. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan, butir-butir soal tersebut tergolongvalid (rxy = 0,584 – 0,676) dan reliabilitasnya tergolong tinggi (r11 = 0,649). Data tersebut menunjukkan perangkat tes tersebut layak digunakan untuk mengukur model mental mahasiswa tentang korelasi struktur dan sifat senyawa organik.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a diagnostic test of mental model in organic chemistry. The study was conducted through four steps, adopting research and development design of 4-D learning device (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The quality of the resulting test device is determinated by the theoretical and empirical validity and reliabilitiy. Validation by expert team showed CVR values throughout the item was = 1. The trial results showed that the test items are classified as valid (rxy = 0,584 – 0,676) and its reliability is high (r11 = 0,649). The data indicate that the test device is feasible to use to measure student mental models about the correlation of structure and properties of organic compounds.
