IDENTIFIKASI LARVA NYAMUK YANG DITANGKAP DI PERINDUKAN DI KABUPATEN BULELENG

Abstract


Nyamuk merupakan salah satu serangga yang sangat menggangu bagi manusia maupun hewan melalui gigitannya. Selain menyebabkan rasa gatal nyamuk juga dapat berperan sebagai vektor penyakit. Jumlah jenis nyamuk yang pernah dilaporkan ada di Indonesia diperkirakan lebih dari 457 jenis nyamuk dan 18 marga. Jenis-jenis tersebut didominasi oleh marga Aedes, Anopheles, dan Culex yang mencapai 287 jenis. Keberadaan vektor di lingkungan di kabupaten Buleleng juga menentukan kesehatan masyarakat di kabupaten ini terutama yang hubungannya dengan penyakit yang ditularkan oleh vektor nyamuk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi larva nyamuk yang ditangkap di lingkungan kabupaten Buleleng Provinsi Bali. Rancangan penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan larva nyamuk yang ditangkap di perindukan dan diidentifikasi yaitu : Culex quinquefasciatus, Aedes aegipty, Anopheles sp dan Culex visnui.

Abstract

Mosquitoes is one of insect that very disturbing for human and animals through it bites. In addition to causing itching, mosquito can also serve as vectors of disease. The number of mosquitos species that have been reported in Indonesia is estimated at more than 457 species and 18 genera. These species are dominated by the genera Aedes, Anopheles and Culex, which reached 287 species. The presence of vector in the environment in Buleleng regency also determine the health of the community in this regency is mainly associated with the disease is transmitted by mosquito vectors. The purpose of this study is to identify the mosquito larvae were captured in Buleleng regency, Bali Province. Research design was a descriptive study. The results of study get mosquito larvae were arrested in breeding and identified are Culex quinquefasciatus, Aedes aegipty, Anopheles sp dan Culex visnui.
