EVALUASI PROGRAM RKBI JURUSAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA FAKULTAS MIPA UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN GANESHA

Abstract

Rintisan kelas bertaraf internasional (RKBI) pada jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha sudah dibuka mulai tahun 2008. Selama lima tahun beroperasi, belum pernah ada penelitian untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program tersebut. Oleh karena itu, untuk saat ini sangat diperlukan penelitian untuk mengevaluasi program tersebut. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan CIPP (context, input, process, and product). Penelitian menemukan bahwa operasional program RKBI pada jurusan Pendidikan Matematika sudah berjalan dalam kategori sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, program RKBI pada jurusan Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha harus dilanjutkan dengan beberapa perbaikan. Perbaikan paling penting untuk diupayakan adalah pengakuan terhadap kompetensi tambahan yang dimiliki lulusan.

Abstract: World class program for Educational Mathematics Department at Ganesha University of Education was opened in 2008. This program was hoped yielded mathematics teachers with world class quality. For the five year operation, it is no evaluation for this program yet. Therefore, for this momment, it is important to do the evaluation for this program. Evaluation is done by using CIPP (context, input, process, and product) approach. It was found that the operation of world class program Educational Mathematics Department at Ganesha University of Education stand in very good cathegory. Considering this result, it is recomended for continuing the operation of world class program for Educational Mathematics Department at Ganesha University of Education with some improvements. The most important improvement is acknowledgement for their competence.
