KINETIKA DEGRADASI LINDI TPA BENGKALA DENGAN TEKNIK ELEKTROOKSIDASI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinetika degradasi Lindi TPA Bengkala dengan teknik elektrooksidasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah lindi TPA Bengkala dan obyek penelitiannya adalah kadar COD lindi TPA Bengkala. Lindi didegradasi dengan teknik elektrooksidasi dengan variasi waktu 0 jam; 0,5 jam; 1 jam; 1,5 jam; 2 jam; 2,5 jam; dan 3 jam. Jarak antar elektroda karbon dibuat 3 cm dengan luas per-mukaan 10,158 cm2. Elektroda tersebut diberi tegangan 13,5 volt. Kadar COD lindi hasil degradasi diu-kur dengan UV vis 1600 shimadzu pada panjang gelombang 600 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ki-netika laju reaksi degradasi lindi TPA Bengkala dengan teknik elektrooksisai mengikuti orde reaksi 1 de-ngan konstanta reaksi 6,96.10-4 gL-1s-1.

Abstract: This study aims to determine kinetics of degradation Bengkala leachate by electrooxidation technique. Subjects of research was Bengkala leachate and the object of researchwas Bengkala leachate COD levels. Leachate was degraded with time variation technique electrooxidation with 0 hours; 0.5 hours; 1 hour; 1.5 hours; 2 hours; 2.5 hours; and 3 hours. The distance between the carbon electrodes are made 3 cm with a surface area of 10,158 cm2. Electrodes were given voltage of 13.5 volts. Leachate COD levels of degradation were measured with a Shimadzu UV-vis 1600 at a wavelength of 600 nm. The results show the kinetics of the reaction rate of degradation leachate Bengkala with electrooxidation technique following 1 reaction order with reaction constants 6,96.10-4 gL-1s-1.
