Abstract

This study aims to test (1) the work motivation of employees at the Sawan sub-district office, (2) work motivation on the performance of employees at the Sawan sub-district office. This type of research in this research is causal quantitative. The subjects of this study were all employees at the Sawan sub-district office, the object was work motivation and employee performance. This study is a population study because all employees in the Sawan sub-district office were respondents. The number of employees in the Sawan sub-district office was 57 employees. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and document recording, which were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results obtained in this study indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance of 0.783 with a large contribution of influence that is 61.3%.
