Abstract

Job satisfaction is one of the most important things in the company. In job satisfaction several things are needed, one of which is compensation and motivation to increase employee job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on the job satisfaction of thousand flower garden workers at the Banjar Asah Service Office, Gobleg Village, Banjar District. The research design used in this research is quantitative causal. This research is a population study with a total of 65 thousand flower garden workers. Data were collected by interview and questionnaire methods and analyzed by path analysis. The results showed that (1) compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) compensation has a positive and significant effect on motivation, (3) motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and (4) motivation is able to mediate compensation on job satisfaction.
