Abstrak

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengembangan materi tambahan menggunakan Glide untuk siswa kelas 11 di Bali Utara karena berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, guru membutuhkan variasi teks bacaan dan media untuk mengatasi kejenuhan dalam mempelajari materi bacaan. Selain itu, teks yang berbasis budaya lokal sangat jarang ditemukan di internet atau sumber lainnya. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan Socalture sangat dibutuhkan. Dalam mengembangkan materi tambahan, penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian Design and Development (DnD) oleh Richey dan Klein (2005) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama yaitu desain, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah catatan peneliti, lembar validasi, expert judgment, dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Pengembangan produk dijelaskan langkah demi langkah. Sedangkan kualitas produk dari pakar dianalisis menggunakan rumus kategorisasi data dan dari pengguna menggunakan alat analisis data UEQ. Dari hasil analisis data, kualitas produk berdasarkan expert judgment sheet mencapai persentase 93,3% pada evaluasi isi dan 97,8% pada evaluasi media. Artinya, aplikasi tersebut memiliki kualitas yang sangat baik dan layak. Berdasarkan UEQ, aplikasi ini memenuhi syarat Baik dalam stimulasi yang artinya aplikasi dapat memberikan motivasi dan semangat bagi siswa. Dari hasil tersebut, materi tambahan dapat digunakan sebagai media pengajaran untuk mengatasi kebosanan dan kekurangan media dalam mengajarkan materi bacaan.
