Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

 

1. Either Bahasa or English manuscript  is related to history, history learning, culture studies as its topic, namely the result of research.
2. The manuscript must be original work, is never published in other publications and it is written individually (except for the result of research which is done by more than one person) .
3. The manuscript is written using suitable formats based on the provision of scientific article writing system , using standard Bahasa Indonesia or English, consisting of its typing and its record as a soft file.
4. The manuscript must be typed in single space, 10-15 pages in length, A4 paper,  using margins 3 cm for each margin (top, left, right and bottom) . The writing uses Times New Roman font, size 12.
5. The manuscript is written in Microsoft Word.
6. The article of research  result contains:

8. The source references in the article text are written by using side note, for example: (Tosh, 1993: 23); (Kartodirjo, 1992:50); or (Chadwick, Bahr dan Albrecht, 1991:211-220). Besides, sources writing in references is  arranged based on rules : writer’s name, a year of publication, title(italic), city of publication dan publisher.

9. References just contain of sources  which are referred in explanation and arranged alphabetically without number.

10. The manuscript is sent by online submission cc email [email protected]

11. The published manuscript will be re-edited by editorial staff without changing its content.

12. The rejected manuscript will be re-sent to the writer through written information from the editorial staff.

13.The writer whose manuscript is published will be sent 3 (three) magazines concerned with those number.

We recommend authors to use reference manager such as Zotero or Mendeley.
