Menjelajahi Budaya Pandhalungan melalui Teori Nilai Schwartz: Studi Pada Remaja di Jember

Abstrak

Budaya memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk karakter individu, memberikan pengaruh pada dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku di berbagai konteks sosial. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis preferensi nilai remaja di Jember dalam konteks Budaya Pandhalungan. Metode penelitian adalah survey pada 458 remaja. Penekanan utama penelitian ini menyasar remaja, sebuah kelompok demografis yang ditandai dengan perubahan nilai yang substansial selama fase pencarian jati diri. Metode pengumpulan data menggunaka Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ) dari Schwartz.  Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan bantuan perangkat lunak JAMOVI versi 1.6.18.0. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan remaja memiliki preferensi nilai yang kuat pada dimensi sosial (Konservasi dan Transendensi Diri) serta dimensi personal (Keterbukaan terhadap Perubahan dan Peningkatan Diri). Hal ini menandakan orientasi nilai yang mencakup Tradisi, Kepatuhan, Altruisme, Inovasi dan Peningkatan Diri. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman Budaya Pandhalungan di kalangan remaja Jember, berimplikasi pada perumusan strategi intervensi dan program pendidikan yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai lokal. Penelitian berkelanjutan penting untuk memahami lebih dalam Budaya Pandhalungan di berbagai kelompok usia dan skenario kontekstual. Penelitian dilakukan saat pandemi COVID-19, sehingga perlu menjadi catatan keterbatasan penelitian.
