Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah berdampak besar pada berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk ekonomi, yang sangat terpengaruh oleh krisis kesehatan masyarakat yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Akibatnya, banyak bisnis yang terpaksa tutup dan beralih ke platform digital untuk bertahan dari krisis dan berkembang dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mendorong dan menghambat inovasi digital pada UMKM selama masa disrupsi ekonomi, khususnya dari sudut pandang wirausahawan muda di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang rinci dan deskriptif tentang masalah tersebut. Peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan 30 wirausahawan di Kota Bekasi untuk mengeksplorasi dampak positif dan negatif dari pandemi terhadap inovasi wirausaha dalam bertransisi ke platform digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal (kendala pasar dan permintaan) dan internal (pertumbuhan pribadi dan profesional) mendorong inovasi digital di UMKM selama dan setelah pandemi. Pandemi telah berdampak secara tidak proporsional pada UMKM karena mereka kekurangan sumber daya perusahaan besar dalam hal pembiayaan, manajemen, dan teknologi. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi para partisipan saat menjalankan bisnis online pascapandemi, seperti keterampilan yang dibutuhkan, kekhawatiran terkait pasar pada platform digital, dan kualitas internet. Temuan ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan program yang mendukung wirausahawan selama masa gangguan ekonomi dan untuk membuat kebijakan dan strategi pemerintah untuk mempromosikan kewirausahaan digital, terutama di negara-negara berkembang pasca pandemi.
